Riders from across the Macedonian Empire travel to all the major cities, handing troubling news to heralds and regional rulers. The messages all said the following...
Tragedy strikes the heart of Macedon. On his way through Anatolia, Basileus Philip III Arrhidaeus, half-brother of the late Alexandros Megas, was ambushed by brigands who tore through his retinue and stabbed him to death within his own carriage. Frightened by these events, the retinue fled in all directions. Survivors say that the Princess Roxana, pregnant with the late Alexander's child, has gone missing, believed to have fled into hiding by this recent event. The Empire is now without a leader and uncertainty looms across the land.
(And so ends the Argead Dynasty...for now. This was how everything would fracture and make sense why my char and PilgrimStans were even Kings of Macedon to begin with.)

The Assembly of the Athenian League calls to order a Pan-Hellenic Assembly in the city of Plataea. The Ionians(Asia Minor greeks), Epriotes, Spartans, Createans, and all those from colonies from far Hispania to the northern reaches of the Wine dark sea(black sea) and river Tanis are invited

Gives me a reason to roll the attitudes of the four Greek provinces that weren't claimed. And Ace, I am only rolling for those in the Greek AOR, and the Ionian Greeks in Anatolia.
Not gonna roll for Sparta and Crete because they need to be conquered, cannot be invited. As for all the other colonies you listed, not gonna include them either because they don't have a presence in this game. I already said this before, but it seems you disregarded my judgment on Greeks beyond the boundaries of this game's map (what is playable within the Macedonian Empire).
Province 11 (Epirus):
Starting Range: 10/20
Modifiers: +2 for being in Greek AOR, -2 due to close proximity to Macedonians
New Range: 10/20 (1 - 9, Pro-Macedonian; 10 - 12, Neutral; 13 - 20, Pro-Greek)
Result: 4, Thessaly refuses to join the assembly due to their Pro-Macedonian opinion
Province 12 (Thessaly):
Starting Range: 10/20
Modifiers: +2 for being in Greek AOR, -2 due to close proximity to Macedonians
New Range: 10/20
Result: 13, Thessaly accepts the invitation to this League Assembly
Province 14 (Ahkaia):
Starting Range: 10/20
Modifiers: +2 for being in Greek AOR, -2 due to close proximity to Spartans
New Range: 12/20 (1 - 9, Pro-Macedonian; 10 - 12, Neutral; 13 - 20, Pro-Greek)
Result: 10, Ahkaia replies with its neutral stance and refuses to attend
Province 16 (Rhodes):
Starting Range: 10/20
Modifiers: +2 for being in Greek AOR,
New Range: 10/20 (1 - 9, Pro-Macedonian; 10, Neutral, 11 - 20; Pro-Greek)
Result: 16, Rhodes accepts the invitation
Ionian Greeks (Province 20):
Starting Range: 10/20
Modifiers: +2 for being in Greek AOR, -2 due to proximity to Jacb's realm
New Range: 10/20 (1 - 9, Pro-Macedonian; 10 - 12, Neutral; 13 - 20, Pro-Greek)
Result: 12, Province 20 refuses the invitation
Ionian Greeks of Provinces 18 and 19 refuse invitation due to the overlordship of Jacb's dynasty.
No responses from Sparta or Crete, which makes the Athenians believe they will remain neutral (Sparta and Crete need to be conquered, cannot be invited).
Only Thessaly, and Rhodes accept the Assembly invitation.

In an attempt to rally support to his cause (that of a revived Persia and anti-Makedonian alliance mainly), as well as trying to secure/legitimise his claim as a true Pan-Persian ruler, Artobyzus sends out riders along the old Persian Royal road system to those provinces/regions/lands nearest to him. He asks for willing obedience, if not direct control of these provinces, but would likely nonetheless prefer the latter.
(I believe these would be provinces 73 to 78, 81, 88 and 90 to 92- If I can indeed do this, as I'm not even certain I can -then I apologise for all the rolling necessary.)
I will give rolls for a selected number of provinces; don't you getting too big on day 1
Provinces, 77, 78, 74, 75, 76, 81, 92, 91, 90, 88
This will be divided into four major rolls; Northern, Eastern, Western and Southern Provinces.
Those who accept your rule, I will then do rolls to see which provinces accept you as an ally or ruler.
This is as fair as I can be.
All provinces are aware of your ruler's defection so it will be a -2 modifier. However, as a native Persian, I will add a +2
Northern Sector:
Starting Range: 10/20
Modifiers: -2 for betraying Darius III, +2 for being Persian
New Range: 10/20 (1 - 10, Accepted; 11 - 20, Not Accepted)
Result: 10, barely accepted (Provinces 77 and 78)
Eastern Sector:
Starting Range: 10/20
Modifiers: -2 for betraying Darius III, +2 for being Persian
New Range: 10/20 (1 - 10, Accepted; 11 - 20, Not Accepted)
Result: 15, Not Accepted
Western Sector:
Starting Range: 10/20
Modifiers: -2 for betraying Darius III, +2 for being Persian
New Range: 10/20 (1 - 10, Accepted; 11 - 20, Not Accepted)
Result: 13, Not Accepted
Southern Sector:
Starting Range: 10/20
Modifiers: -2 for betraying Darius III, +2 for being Persian
New Range: 10/20 (1 - 10, Accepted; 11 - 20, Not Accepted)
Result: 14, Not Accepted
Only the North appears to be willing to forgive you, yet the rest of those around you see you as a traitor and vile opportunist. However, due to the barely accept attitude, the North is only willing to recognize your ruler as a friend, but not an ally nor their overlord. Thus Artobyzus has only gained a 'friend' from the Northern Satrap.

In order to rally support for the oncoming civil war and to see if Parmenion's neighbours are pro macedon, Parmenion invites province 76,75,74,70,66,63 to a council to discuss matters in Persia.
Veritas Temporis Filia
This will be divided into four major rolls; Northern, Eastern, and Western Provinces.
I will then roll their attitudes towards Macedonians, then determine if they will join your council or not.
Sadly, I cannot think of any positive modifiers for you. If you had defeated the revolt then there would be a positive modifier.
This is as fair as I can be.
Northern Sector:
Starting Range: 10/20
Modifiers: -1 for ongoing native revolt, -1 for being a foreign dynasty
New Range: 8/20 (1 - 8, Pro-Macedonian; 9 - 20, Neutral)
Result: 8, Provinces 70 and 74 seem barely tolerable of Macedonians.
Eastern Sector:
Starting Range: 10/20
Modifiers: -1 for ongoing native revolt, -1 for being a foreign dynasty
New Range: 8/20 (1 - 8, Pro-Macedonian; 9 - 20, Neutral)
Result: 11, the Eastern provinces seem neutral and refuse the invitation.
Western Sector:
Starting Range: 10/20
Modifiers: -1 for ongoing native revolt, -1 for being a foreign dynasty
New Range: 8/20 (1 - 8, Pro-Macedonian; 9 - 20, Neutral)
Result: 16, the Western provinces seem near intolerable of the neighboring Macedonian presence and refuse the invitation.
Only the North appears to be willing to approach this council. They are only reluctant to send delegations to participate.

Artobyzus, after sending out his letters to the surrounding satraps, writes another one. This letter however could, possibly, be far more important than those already sent. He gives it to the strongest rider, mounted on the swiftest horse in his stables.
Inside the scroll is a proposal, a proposal of marriage; addressed to Amastris, daughter of Oxyathres, the brother of Darius III, it tells of the sadness and emptiness that fills the heart of the Persian Satrap. How he lives alone in the desert depths, along with his four children, yet does not know love or has even loved another woman since the passing of his late wife.
Although it is clear to both parties that this letter is likely, for the moment at least, written more for political gain than any other reason, there is no reason why they could not come to love one another in time. After all, those Makedonians who married Persian or Asiatic wives came to love their own former mistresses...or some, at least.
If she accepted this proposal it could change how he was viewed among his fellow Persians, as well as gaining him a claim to the throne. If she refused, well then, then Artobyzus would need to try all the harder to make Persia great again.
OOC: Okie dokie, this is exactly what is says really. Some factors that should add in are that he's a native Persian, that he was forgiven by Ahuramazda for his transgressions, and that he is the only Persian ruler within the Iranian plateau and surrounding regions; the only thing standing between Babylon and the Far Eastern Diadochi.

Base Roll: 10/20 (1-10 acceptance, 11-20 refusal)
Persian native +2
Powerful ruler +2
Accepted by Ahura Mazda +1
New Roll: 15/20 (1-15 acceptance, 6-20 refusal)
Roll: 3
The relatives of the late Darius III are thrilled by the proposal and writes back to Artobyzus that the Achaemenid Dynasty would be honored to marry one of its daughters to such a powerful and noble Shah, blessed by the cleansing fire of God.
King Pantheus dispatches riders to the Syrian Satraps to the south and east. 42, 46, 47. They tell the rulers of these regions that only united will they be able to prosper. King Pantheus was one of the finest generals of their age. Wealth and power would be theirs, if they accepted him as their overlord. And he who was most loyal, would be bound by marriage to the Prince of the Three Bloods, destined to unite all of Syria for prosperity whih would last for generations.
edit: no rolls required anymore, my thanks
Parmenion has send out several letters to his neighbours (75,70,67,66,63) in the hope that they would join his realm.
Inside the scroll there's written that his army recently scored a crushing victory in the last battle and that he finally concluded the Babylonian civil war. He also stresses that an unifiaction of Mesopotamia would grant us a strong army that nobody would dare to oppose under a capable commander like Parmenion. Parmenion also writes that his neighbours are invited to his son's wedding with his niece Anthasia once Parmenion returns to Babylon. The local religion (zoroaristrianism) is also considered legitimate in Parmenion's realm. An union of our realms would also be celebrated in our capital of Babylon
possible pro's :
Strong army combined with neighbours
Concluded civil war
Legitimate religion
Festivities if they accept
invitiation to royal wedding

63, 66, and 67 belong to the new player, Marshall of France. So those can no longer be counted.
This roll will wait till this Friday when the next year begins since this has been attempted three times now (1 previous courier, a council event and this new courier of which the first two failed to garner any support).
