Kleanid Military:
Being far flung from the homeland of Macedonia, the Kleanids must make use of the Local and surrounding peoples to heavily supplement their own. Though not as well trained or disciplined as the few Macedonian soldiers, the local forces know the land well and how to fight in its mountains terrain better than any Greek. The native warrior’s fierceness in battle and willingness to defend their homeland more than makes up for their lack of proper training.

Indian Royal Elephants (Elite Heavy Cavalry) 400 : The lands of India is home to largest breed of Elephant ever seen before by the armies of Alexander. Used for centuries by the warlords of India, the new Hellenic kings of the land were quick to adopt these creatures into their armies to supplement for the lack of noble greek cavalry from the homeland. These animals are the best of their breed, armoed by the Royal blacksmiths and carry the generals and noble family into battle. These animals more than make up for any lack of power in the Indo-Greek charge! - (2000 pts)
-Hetaroi ('companions'): 600 ->The Companions form the Royal Guard of Horse, the personal bodyguard of the King; they are usually leaded by the King himself to battle. The Companions wear heavy armor, with bronze muscular cuirasses, greaves and Boeotioan helmets; they carry xystons, heavy thrusting spears, and kopis, should the xyston be broken in a charge. (3,000 points)
Mármaraspídes (Marble shields/ Elite Heavy Troop) 1000 : imitating the colors of the white homes of their homeland, the marble shields take great pride in their Hellenic heritage, and is the main body guard of the Kleanid family. Chosen from the new Macedonian nobles of the land, they are the pride of the East. They are veterans of the far eastern campaign who had seen the most battle by the end of Alexander’s conquests. The backbone of the entire Indo-greek phalanx. -(5000 pts)

-Pezhetairoi ('Foot Companions'/Heavy Troop): 1000 :The Foot Companions as Alexander liked to name them were the core of the Hellenistic battle-line and comprised most of the battle phalanx. They wield the sarissas, with bronze helmets (Phrygian caps) and linothorax, a small Illyrian shield covering their torso and arms, but leaving them both hands to hold the long pike. Made up of the sons of the veterans from the East, they are small in number but are well trained by their veteran parents.

Bactrian Hippeis (Heavy Cavalry) 1000: Armed with Lance and swords of barbaric design, these “noble” warriors from the many clans of the Bactria have been lured into service for the Kleanids with promises of glory and riches the likes they could never imagine. -(3000 pts)
Scythian Horse Archers (Missile Cavalry) 1000: Hailing from the numerous tribes north Bactria nad Persia; they traveling in mass throughout the region and make fine mercenaries for any army. Their fast strikes and accurate archers make them feared throughout the civilized world. -(3000 pts)
Persian Archers (Archers) 1000: Thousands of years of warfare among numerous empires and influenced by the northern nomadic tribes. These Persians are able archers and great supplement to any army. Though not from the region, they are able warriors in any field. -(1000 pts)
Bactrian Hillsmen (Light Infantry/Axemen) 1000: Armed with various shields and cruel looking Axes, these hillsmen are savage warriors that can split shield and armor in two. Although they are Ill-disciplined, these men make up for it by being fearless in battle. A good commander will hold them back long enough to be able shore up any weakening in the Kleanid lines, able to push back any attempt for an enemy to exploit it. -(1000 pts)
Scaled-Hoplties (Heavy Infantry/Spearmen) 1000: Made up of the immigrants but by Alexander; Greeks, Macedonians, Thracians, all Hellenic peoples that have been settled throughout the east. These warriors take up arms in the style of their forebears, with scaled armor in the fashion of the eastern tribes of the Bactrians and Scythians instead of the traditional linen Linothorax. (2000 pts)
Peltasts (Skirmishers) 1000: Consisting of all types of men from greeks to Bactrians, Persians to Indians, they have all been trained in the art of the Peltasts. With sufficient training to last in any terrain or kingdom. Probably the hardiest of ranged warriors next to the professional troops themselves. (1000 pts)

Indian Bamboo Archers (2000) : Armies of India are made up predominantly of archers. These local forces use the traditional Bamboo Longbow, and cane arrows to great effect. Though not professional by any means, their sheer number and great distance arc made by their arrows will strike down any great number of enemies. -(2000 pts)
Eastern Spearmen (Light Infantry) (2000): Levied from the populations of the entire kingdom, these are the bulk of the military. From the Bactria to India, these men are armed with large wicker and bamboo shields and iron tipped spears. -(2000 pts)
Levy Phalanx (Heavy infantry) (5000): Drawn from the native population, these men have been hastily trained in the form of Phalanx warfare. They are nowhere near the professionalism of their Macedonian counterparts. Their training is light but they can hold a Sarrisa well enough, though their discipline is shaky at best. -(10000 pts)
Indian Sword infantry (Light Infantry/Swordsmen) (2000) : The armies of northern India have long used swords in their military, notabley straight swords (many precursor to the famed Khanda of later years). Though lightly armored, this makes them fast and less encumbered, able to last long in battle while cutting bloody swathes through enemies.-(2000 pts)
Bactrian Outriders (Light Cavalry) 1000: These horsemen hale from the fertile plains of the Bactria, though not professional troops their horsemanship is fair. Learning some from the steppe tribes to the north and as well as fighting them, they do well in their own lands and make passable scouts and fast attack on the flanks of armies. (3000 pts)
