Are you using cine_skins? Those are the usual culprits. Just use the game_skins and this shouldn't occur.

I checked to see if I am using cine_skins and I am not. Right now I am having other issues with the mod, once I get them sorted out, I guess I could upload the variant and you can take a look at it.
would recommend finding a unit variantmeshdefinition that has the amount of slots you require and then editing that variantmeshdefinition with what armours ect that unit want on your custom units and don't touch the skins part of itthis way you know the skins wont go crazy. if your having more issues send me a pm

I'll give that a shot.
I would recommend doing more in PFM too. I use the assembly kit just to make the general unit skin but use PFM to fine tune it. It's much quicker to make small edits.
I seem to have found the issue. I was using roman_skin_1 which doesn't work right, However, roman_1 does.
i'm still having issues. I have found only 2 skins that work, roman_1 and eastern_1_arms. roman_2, roman_3 and roman_4 all have this glitch. Since other people use those skins just fine, it must be something else that is wrong.
