    Default Seige Issue

So I've started a new English campaign on a fresh install of SS 6.4 with a couple other mods (next heir ancillary and regional knightly orders) as well as the bugfix compilation.

So on turn 1 I send my faction heir alone from Caen to seige Rennes so that the rebels will sally forth during the end turn phase. When they do and I get in game, the settlement has no walls or buildings, and it looks like there are just a few watchtower roofs sticking out of the ground like they were buried. The enemy only has 1 unit (they should have 7) and they take a few steps and stay put. I can't send my general in to kill them either as the walls are invisible but still in place.

Does anybody know what to do?

I should add that it is only Rennes that has this problem, I've tried to siege other settlements in the same way and it works perfectly fine.

settlement level? if minor city/ large town/etc
    Castle or City?
    early or late era?
    garrisoned units?
buildings in the settlement? wooden palisade/stonewall etc
    your attacking force?

You could use auto resolve, and auto win cheat command if you must.

Also, I just tried adding the settlement fixes mod (properly) and I don't have the problem anymore. All is well!

(and it seems like the forum won't let me give you anymore rep melooo, sorry! )

    ----edit----
    did it for you

Thanks for the replies both of you (have some rep!), I think the problem was in the way I tried installing the G5 Settlement Fixes mod, so I reinstalled everything (SS6.3->SS6.4->Next Heir Ancillary Mod->Bug Fix Compilation->Regional Knightly Orders) and now it's fixed.
