Default Windows Vista RC1 compatibility with games

I am trying to come up with a list of games of which game does or doesn't run under windows vista.

    My specs:

    AMD 64 3000 CPU
    ASUS K8N Motherboard
1.5 GB of Corsair DDR 2 RAM
ATI Raedon 1600 XT card (256mb AGP 8x)
    120 GB + 80 GB Hard Drive
    Creative Audigy 2 - soundcard
    Windows Vista 32bit

So far I have tried 3 games to run under windows Vista.

    1. MT2W demo - runs ok, I think it's a bit slower than winXP

    2. Lock On : Modern Air Combat - Doesn't run at all. Tried 3 different compatibility ways (winxp; win2000; win98). It gives an error message at the game loading.

    3. Far Cry. Will not run. It hangs on the loading screen to eternity. (tried 3 compatibility ways)

    4. Company of Heroes - Will run, but I have texture corruptions and missing textures in game (could be the beta version of ATI drivers)

these games not running, makes me worried a bit about the retail version of Vista.

I will refuse to install this OS if it will have major compatibility issues with older games.

Please list games you have tried under Windows Vista - working or not working.

    Ahem...

    Gamespot already did this :tooth:

Reidy's link above lists RTW as "flat out broken" in Vista. I think, there were testing the Beta version of Vista, not the RC1.

Regardless, RC1 stands for "release candidate 1" , which means, it suppose to be a very close version to the actual product than a "beta" - version.
    That is what worries me.

All games but the ones built on open GL work for me perfectly. Now i'm not using the ATI drivers. The original driver that comes with windows works way better for the moment.
