The Execution of a Spy

It had been a few days since Lucion Lannister caught a simpleton attempting to pick lock of his office door. The man in question was easily arrested and thrown into the Black Cells for interrogation. The only known fact that was taken from the man's mouth was that he was a spy. Other than that, the prisoner proved to be worthless due to his unwillingness to surrender any further information.

Furious at such an action, the Lord Hand has a date set for his execution. The man, in ragged and bloodied cloth, chains and bruised skin is brought forth to a platform for the people of King's Landing to see. The spy in question was forced to stand despite his inflicted injuries. A cloth tied around his mouth to ensure his silence. Lord Lannister jabs the man's chest with his finger. His voice stern and cold.

Let this be an example to your kind and whoever your master is. I have dealt with prisoners and traitors before, and you will be one who gets to be an example of how I deal with such people.

The Lord Hand motions for the executioners who come forth. Lucion stands there as the jaw of the prisoner is forced opened after the cloth is removed and a knife placed to his tongue. Lucion raises his hand in the air to get the attention of those present.

This public execution is on the grounds that this man, who stands behind me, a captured spy, attempted to spy upon my person and failed in doing so. His employer is not known, but instead, I shall make an example of this nobody. Since he refused to speak, his tongue will be removed.

Lucion then swiftly lowers his hand. A gurgling scream was heard as the tongue of the prisoner was cut off. Then the poor man was dragged to a table where tools were brought forth. Lord Lannister looks at the crowd.

I part with this entertainment for you all, people of King's Landing. A public disembowelment. The man's punishment for daring to spy upon a royally appointed member of the Small Council and the Lord of a Great House.

The Lord Hand steps down from the platform and begins to make his way back to the Red Keep. The whole time he was walking, more gurgling screams were heard as the executioners brutally disemboweled the captured person, ensuring his last moments on this world were filled with pain and suffering.
