Problem downloading TATW

This is not a problem getting the download to activate, but rather a problem getting it to complete. When I download the installer for TATW, and when it "finishes" downloading, I am given an option to select how I want to "open the file," being given an option of looking at the Windows App Store for an appropriate program. If I try to choose anything, the download simply vanishes and is nowhere to be found, as if it was never downloaded at all. I'm using Windows 8 (not by choice) and have followed the required steps regarding Windows 8 and M2TW mods. In fact, I got this to download and install seven months ago with great success. Please help.

I'm having the same problem, part 1 of 2 downloads no problem for me however part 2 of 2 and patch 3.2 don't download as an application so I can't launch the installers for them.

How did you even get part 1 to work? Nothing works at all for me.

What Internet browser are you guys using for downloading the Installers? Try with Mozilla Firefox, or, try to make it work by using this "Let me fix it myself" method: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2688326

Be sure to make a Registry Backup before using this method.

Using Mozilla Firefox worked for the 3.2 patch, I'll start downloading part 2 of 2 soon.

It turns out that ModDataBase was causing the download to not work properly. But now I cannot find a proper 3.1 download. Do I need to download both 3.1 and 3.2 or will 3.2 suffice?

You need to download TATW 3.0 both parts and TATW 3.2 Patch.

3.1 Patch is needed only if you want to play submods which are updated only for 3.1 version.
