My teacher once told me there are no stupid questions (I think he must have been drunk at the time!) so please carry on As far as I can tell it appears the state groups are missing key files, so perhaps (and I do say perhaps because I'm really not sure) a re-install or re-download and install might solve this? I can't say for certain though.

Mackles, I am frustrated... I did what you have written- uninstalled Wwise, downloaded it again and installed it again, again imported all songs and AGAIN that same problem...

For the last tip about replacing the ui sounds, I assume that means I can find those files in your Rome mod, then just replace each with those in PFM with my music mod when I finish it?

Also any chance of you posting that example so we can take a look at it?

Would you be willing to post your Rome 1 music mod project up for us to take a look at? Maybe on Dropbox or something, only for personal work of course. I can use Wwise but it would be really great to see your hierarchy structure.

Excellent tutorial. One question: I can change playlist container? I want to do the following: battle: barbarian / roman / eastern / hellenic

    It is possible?

    Thank you.

I think you can change the names of the Music Switch Containers but the game association names can not be changed.

I would really like to look at the Wwise project folder, I don't need the actual .wav files. I can still look at the Wwise setup. This would be really helpful for us learning Wwise for Rome 2.

Any chance of an upload, it's really small in size.

    Thanks.

    Question:

When coming back from the game to the Main screen what is the best way to transition this? The reason I ask is because the loading music plays for a second and then goes right to the Main screen. It sounds awkward and would probably best not there. I understand transitions but I'm curious what the best all purpose way to do this would be since it's any time you come from any game state back to the Main screen.

    Thanks.

Can Wwise be use without having the game itself ?

I'm not sure if anyone is active here any more but I'm still working a lot with Wwise. One thing I've noticed is that even though I have the four culture groups completely separated for the campaign map I sometimes hear the "wrong" track playing from a different group.

For example, When playing Sparta, I hear all my Greek (roman_eastern) tracks, but sometimes a Roman (roman_barbarian) track plays. Why is this, a bug?

Well, my first run was... uneventful. Manged to get through without errors though at same time nothing played ingame (but at least my modpack didnt crash rome lol!)

Bit of a request, and im sure it would get someone a lot of rep, But a pre-made project with all the correct playlists etc (obviously without the files) would go a long way, the terminology of the CA one just confuzzles me (and I'm a university level programmer!)

Could you perhaps send me your wwise project file Tyso3?

Mackles seems busy, and a few looks at a completed and polished project would be extremely helpful!

Not a problem, but youll have to delete the files shortcuts (assuming you know how to do this) and also make sure you change all the state paths for whatever music you are using.

If you do it right you can end up with awesome music like

Anytime bud, after showing you (even though all i did was talk about it) its far better for me to teach you how to do it then just giving you the project.
