    Default Surrendering Stonehelm

Ser Trystane had been ordered by Lord Uller to take care of the castle until either it's "rightful" owners came back or he saw any other banner of a stormlander House. Harmen was keen on leaving the Stormlands for good
He had a small garrison of about a hundred men, twenty of them knights, just enough to guard the keep

    **timeskip to my arrival**

Stannis Baratheon arrives, with Lord Swann in tow, at the head of an army nearing seven thousand men - the remnants of Renly host from the battle of Storm's End. He demands the immediate and unconditional surrender of the keep.

The hundred men started exiting the main keep and Uller's representative addressed Stannis

Oh, Lord Stannis, we were wondering when would you arrive. The castle has been kept in the finest of conditions, Lord Swann shouldn't find any problem

Ser Trystane was a man that understood courtesy. He had been chosen by Uller for that

The keep is now under your command

Stannis abruptly turned to the man beside him. Did I not promise to restore your seat in Stonehelm, lord Swann?

The man nodded. And so you have.

Stannis turned back to Trystane. You and your men will leave these lands and never return, ser. In Stannis' eyes the man before him might be a thief and a Dornishmen besides - but he was a knight and he made a point of addressing him as such.

    And so we will milord. But before I leave, Lord Uller wanted me to ask you something;

Trystane found Stannis unsettling to say the least

He wants someone to foster his eleven year old child, Maron. He thinks the Storm's End is the best place for him to be raised in. Would you be willing to receive him and take care of his education?

Can lord Uller not take the time out of his own schedule to ask this of me himself, ser? Stannis' eyes were dark blue - a blue like the water of Shipbreaker's Bay - and steely as well. Dornishmen are treacherous Stannis knew, dangerous as well, Rors was mad and Uller himself had launched an attack on Storm's End which made him madder still - but he could raise this boy right, make a change in their sunbaked lands. Though I will take the boy on as my ward.

    a

I am most sorry, milord, but Lord Uller did wanted to talk with you personally, he asked twice and both times you refused him. So as to not waste more ink he told me to ask.
Although I am sure Lord Harmen will accompany the boy to Storm's End if you want to speak to him

Trystane was satisfied. Both matters were successfully dealt with

The men and I will now leave, Lord Stannis. In a couple of weeks, a month at most, you will be hearing from Lord Harmen. I'm sure he will be glad to know you accepted his proposition
