    Just to highlight what I did for future development, the script file used was an exact copy from 0.9h. I simply just added the predecessor(s) unit(s) into each reform and the technology_unit_upgrades took care of the rest

    For example the Principe upgrade line under Unit Allowances-Rome

    This is a nice work!!

    I suggest the following upgrades to the hellenic factions:

    • Phalangitae -> Thorakitai Phalangitae (thorax reform)
    • Bosphoroi Phalangitai -> Bosphoroi Thorakitai Phalangitae (thorax reform)
    • Hoplitae -> Thorakitai Hoplitae (thorax reform)
    • Peltastai -> Euzonoi (not secure about this; have range units been moved to AOR?)
    • Machairophoroi -> Thureophoroi Machairophoroi (Thureos reform)
    • Hetairoi -> Hetairoi (Late)(Thorax reform)
    • Machairophoroi (Pontus) -> Pontikoi Thureophoroi Machairophoroi (Thureos reform)
    • Pontikoi Hoplitai ->Pontikoi Thorakitai Hoplitai (thorax)
    • Pontikoi Phalangitae -> Pontikoi Thorakitai Phalangitai (thorax)
    • Spartiatai Hoplitai -> Spartiatai Thorakitae Hoplitai (thorax)
    • Spartiatai Phalangitai -> Spartiatai Thorakitai Phalangitai (thorax)

    There must be additional changes, especially with Sparta, but it’s a mess with all those metoikoi, peroikoi and spartiatai (not sure how they evolve through the reforms).

    • H’anatim Lybim -> H’anatim Lybim Kbedim
    • H’anatim Kan’anim -> H’anatim Kan’anim kbedim

    I tried your mod in an ongoing campaign and I was not able to recruit the allied roman troops in Italy, so only the roman hastati, principes, triarii and equites are recruitable...

    I only just noticed that this updates the garrisons as well, I thought I was going to be stuck with early hastati garrisons for the rest of the game!

    That's weird because its just worked like it should for me. You have an Auxilia Barracks in Italia right? In 0.85 Allied troops were recruited from the Manipular Barracks but in 0.9 they are recruited from the Auxilia Barracks only in the Italia province.

    Yea just noticed that myself while I was continuing my Legendary campaign with Rome. In the next update I will update Rorarii to Late Rorarri then to Cohors Vigilum.

    Well done you've done what some thought impossible. Any future plans on doing this for the naval units as well?

    Just give me an upgrade line and I'll test if this works for naval units as well. But I have my doubts because I don't remember seeing a retrain button on a naval unit and I don't remember ever having the opportunity to retrain a naval unit in vaniila.

    I don't remember myself if it was in vanilla. Couldn't hurt to look into it to see if its possible though. Seems like most of the stuff out of the basic shipwright building would upgrade straight forward, but I guess wont see till we try. I'll try and put together a basic upgrade list when I get a chance.

    possible Rome naval upgrade tree? these are for the assuault bireme as an example

    The lib_reforms_main conflicts with the same file in Historical Legions submod. Any chance you could make it compatible or tell me what you changed specifically so I could look into it further and make it conmpatible?

    I think there is a bug with this submod, after marian reforms i can still recruit Triarii.

    As stated in the description, it's a known bug that I have no way to currently fix. It should only last 1 turn though.

    Its not compatible since its uses a different lib_reforms_main. If you want to make it compatible I provided exactly what I did in the first post on the second page or you can provide me with an upgrade tree with the exact db unit names and I could knock it out. I haven't done it for the Historical Legions submod because since I haven't played it I don't know what db unit names refer to what unit and given the short amount of time I actually have to mod on a daily basis that would take me a while.

    This mods work very well, it would be fantastic if the AI could make use of this, as it would solve the issue of the AI having poor units mid to late game.
