    Default Question

    Hello, Guys

First of all great mod and i love playing it.

I wanted to ask why after i end turn i wait so much long? I wait longer than 2 min to start a new turn, witch wasn't the case in regular M2TW.In the original game i wait no more than 10 seconds.

And also is there a way to speed up the time?

    I have 4 GB of DDR 3 1333 mghz
    1 gb of graphics
    Quad core 2.33

    THANKS

Because of looong wait time i think i will go back to regular M2TW, If they add more scripts the game will be unplayable and waiting will be borring and player will eventualy leave.
I have set all options to low to speed up the process but 1 minute was fastest i could get.And that is 60 turns = 1 hour.
If you are developing 7.0 be reasonable with the lenghts of the scripts.

I think in 6.4 you have way too much regions,i say that because this isnt multyplayer map its single player and there is no way you will conquer the whole map.The player will quit after turn 200 and i think 200 is also too much.Maybe for some hardcore players this is good but for us that dont want to play for monts its just too much.

Does anyone ever think about that?

And yeah, the theme is way too much colored and somethimes you can't see or read certain event.

Did someone think about game performance when writing game script?

I think if you add more factions you need to lower the size of the map.No matter if your goal is to have 50 or 10 regions, a mission is a mission. But when i select lower regions mission i still get the full slow map.

Diplomacy is good and all that but the map is way too much big for the game to handle (correct me if i am wrong).

Sorry if i write something wrong just wanted to write what i think regarding the mod and mods in particular.I play this game for about 7 years and i always play regular M2TW because of slow mods, the more they add the more game is getting slower and slower. In fact i am afraid even to download 7.0 if ever comes up.

I've played the game with much more lower specs than your pc at low settings and didnt had any problems. If you're playing with BGR mod enabled that may explain your slower turns or maybe your pc has another problems (i'm not a pc geek) .

its totally dependent on your core clock, the 2.33, quad core doesn't matter since mtw2 is so old it only uses 1 core. Either overclock your processor during playing, or you'll have to be patient, nothing we can do with a low core clock to speed it up except disable scripts, which is a submod in the submod section.

You can check the PC optimization guide made in the Titanium sub-forum (very good btw). It might help. You can find it here.

Another option that might also help is to use Razer Game Booster. Basically, it switches off all the unnecessary processes and applications while running the game in order to optimize your PC. These processes/applications are restored when you're done. You can find it here.
