Default What to expect from the new release

Hey! I posted this thread to discuss what things we would like to see and the big things of this new release.

    1) With that said, I think the highlight of this new release are the tech trees, now each faction is fully complete and we can now see how different each faction is and gives a lot of repeatability to the campaign, I just hope the AI doesn’t mess it.

    2) I don’t know if this one will be in the campaign already but the Twilight Civil War was a great idea and play with Imp Midna outside the Twilight area is a big win for me.

    3) I hope we can see more factions in the campaign, the Ikana starting on the first turn, the Sheikah being more active and the Wizzrobe and the Stalfos actually do something during the campaign.

    4) Would be nice to see a few more locations and some improvements in the campaign map.

    5) Also want to point out the new missions, very well made and very interesting story so far.

I would also like a rough changelog ahead of the release, just to have an idea on what exactly to expect.

Up Next for July 2014 Release:
    1. Recreated Deku faction
    2. Tech Trees
    3. Hero Abilities
    4. Twili Civil War (Both Missions and Freeform Events)
    5. A heaping helping of New Units

I believe Ikana might be able to now switch back to living after worshiping the Goddesses now, but I am not certain.

While that is the conclusion I've come to, I don't believe Neph has finished the models for the upgrades for a majority of the factions, and only their stats will appear the next version.

The Stalfos got a unique Building, Called Graves. But that may be taken out, with the Final new Version.

Also in the new Release. Unit Upgrades will be incorporated. And a Few more Hyrule Historea Missions that take place after the Twili Civil War.

Has any one else heard/remember any thing else that is going in to the New Release besides this below?

All Defensive Emplacements are going to be removed in the Next Release.
The Bomb Platform from the Gorons.
The Mage Spire from the Zora.
    The Barricades from the Kokiri.
The Deku Baba Patch from the Deku Tribes.
The Gunner Post from the Labrynna Regime.
The Perception Ward from the Fairies.
The Trap-Door Gohma from the Gohma.
And possibly the Ziggurat from the Zuna.

Well I can't think of any more for now.

    In My opinion...
In would be nice, if the Defensive Emplacements would auto Spawn when one of your settlements was under attack. But in special locations in a settlement.

The tech trees look amazing, and hopefully they will balance out a few of the bugs. Or at least allow the Twili to not be constantly in debt as they can't build nearly anything at the moment. I'm definitely looking forward to the new units as well. After adding in the mounted hyrulian knights to my game, it made it quite a bit more fun.

As for the gunner posts and kokiri barricades, I'm split on removing them. On one hand, they made battles in towns much more challenging while on the other, battles in the open fields were amazingly simple as trebuchets could take them out so easily.

I believe Ikana might be able to now switch back to living after worshiping the Goddesses now, but I am not certain.

I wasn't aware that anything had been changed with the Stalfos.

Same. I haven't played the test build, but I've heard nothing about the stalfos all year.

Even with the Graves, their necromancy mechanic doesn't work properly. Maybe that's a bug and it's been fixed though.

    What will be done:
    - Completely redone Deku Tribes Faction: All new models and units.
    - New Abilities for many heroes
    - Single Unit heroes now have stats and count as a General or Governor.
    - Techtrees for each faction capable of building in settlements.
    - Added Twili Civil War event for the Forces of Twilight Faction, choose between either Midna of Zant and dominate the Realm of Twilight before moving to invade Hyrule.
    - New Units:
    Gerudo: Sandblaster
    Gorons: Dodongo Flamethrower
Zora: Domain Supremes, Zora Floodmasters, Bigocto Siege Platform
Kokiri: Shrines of Courage, Mudmen Mantlets
Gohma: Hive Keepers, Walking Hive Node, Virid Gohma, Acid Launchers
    Ordona Province: Breath of Ordona
    Lanayru Province: Coralmold Flinger
    Moblins: Fecespult
    Darknuts Legion: Dishonored Ballista
    Lizalfos: Iguanalfos, Poison Spear Launcher
    Labrynna Regime: Steam Tank
Fairies of Tarm: Mad Mystics, Herald of Seasons, Gates of Tarm
    Ikana: Inferno Engine
Forces of Twilight: Repentants, Sol Nurses, Fused Shadows
    Wizzrobe: Hylian Mage, Death Wizard
    River Zora: Bigocto Broodmothers
    - New Heroes:
    Gorons: Biggoron
    Gohma: Agitha
    Darknut Legion: Yaraxonal
    Shiekah: Azrily
Lanrynna Regime: Maku Tree of Labrynna
    Wizzrobe: Cia

What I don't think will be done*:

    - Armor Upgrades (Not just models, even the values)
    - Living Ikana

*Sorry, simply not enough *** time. I'm already working 18+ hours a day on this with little sleep while trying to hold and maintain three extremely unstable jobs that already can barely pay for me to live. I barely have time to even take bathroom breaks.

It is ok, this is great! Like we have be saying finish the update, spend a week or so on post-release bugs, TAKE A LONG AND WELL DESERVE BREAK!
BTW; What unts did you remove with the update? because based on the tech trees all defensive emplacements and three gohma unit are missing.

Really? Working that long is very unhealthy, you defiantly need a break. I know you are very passionate about Hyrule: Total War but you shouldn't let the project consume all your time. Nobody on this thread would want you to have a stress attack or something.

Enough of that talk though, thank you for bringing us Hyrule Total war! I know I criticize it a lot for being unpolished and not as loyal to canon as it could be but regardless the amount of effort on this mod shows and it has a lot of great things that I love.

With all due respect, this is ridiculous. Cut your work day for this back a good 8 hours, get some rest, worry about your jobs, go out, do whatever you need to do, but this is unhealthy.

Dont forget the Twili custom settlements , also I agree with everyone else 18 hours is far too much, when this is all done you deserve a good few months off.

neph you need rest, it's very unhealthy to work that long(what would your mom say), go rest for a while the game is good as it is and by most mod standards complete, I know you want to tell the most epic zelda ever told but you still need rest.
