    Hay The Wise Coffin.

Here are some Hints to taking citys.

First off. It was not the twili scorserers that were destroying your siege equipment. It was the wall defenses. All Normal walls shoot arrows. But in the last Version of Hyrule Total War, the Version 3.5, Those arrows can destroying your siege equipment. They do way to much damage. But when The New Release comes Out, that will be fixed.

    Now First hint.

Use Lots of Ladders. They are not a Big target for those wall defenses. Send the Ladders all at once to take the city. And have your men in Loose formation, to minimize casualty.

Never use Siege Towers, They are a wast and will never reach the wall, unless the wall does not have wall defenses.

Should have mentioned this. wall defenses are not units/troops on the wall. It is attacks that come from the wall it's self.

    so were was I...

Ok, So some settlements in Hyrule Total War Version 3.5. Can not be targeted by Ladders or Siege Towers, Also those walls of this kind of settlement are Immortal and unable to be destroyed. It is a Bug, that was not fixed in that version. But your first Lets Play of the Twili Faction did not have these Bugged walls. so your fine.

For those Bugged settlements, you will need several Rams. Send them all at the same gate at once. Some to next to the gate, and one straight on the gate. You can't have more then one ram target a gate at a time.
But before you send the rams in. Send a portion of your troops to Distract the Wall Defenses. You will Line them up in front of the walls along the path of your rams to the wall. Make them in loose formation, to cover more ground, and to leases the casualty, of your Meat shields.

If you have Artillery use it to open the wall for you can charge in. But keep your artillery away from the wall. or the Wall Defenses will Destroy them. In your First lats play. Your Artillery started in range of the Wall Defenses. Which is why they were braking..

Now Twili First Artillery The "Sol Cannons" are meant to be an anti troop weapon. The Twili Second artillery can destroy walls I think. It is the Shadow Bloat, an artillery Beast. But it was resontly turned it to an artillery Beast, So it may Not be an artillery in Hyrule Total War Version 3.5. But when the 2014 July Release of Hyrule Total War comes out. I Believe it will be incorporated, and you can use it to Open Walls of Citys.

    I think that's all...

I forgot to add some thing.
When you send ladders at a wall. make the Ladder carriers Run. And make them in Loose Formation.

Nice campaign but I would really wait until next release in july. The Twilight are getting a huge overhaul with the Twili civil War, Zant vs. Midna. May other features as well such as tech trees.

How do you record I would like to do a play through at some point myself.
Also the Forces of Twilight go broke really fast so I would build that mirror gate soon.

Here's what I used when recording my Darknut campaign.

Fraps (Video Game Footage. This software needs to be paid for.)
Audacity (Commentary Recording. I use a cheap headset bought at a local store.)
Windows Live Movie Maker (Rendering Videos)

When recording, make sure you have lots of free space. A rough estimate is one minute (for 1280x720) takes up one GB worth of space, but chances are the file size will be larger than that. In addition, you have to render the captured footage when can take hours to finish and that is not taking in account editing. Lastly, it needs to be uploaded somewhere for people to watch which also takes time.

Recording with or without commentary can be rewarding or can be used to "store" memories of playthroughs, especially if it is a blind one.

The realm of Twilight just seems bad at supporting economy it's not lying when it says you must invade the world of light to survive

That's part of the reason why I'm looking forward to the next version. The entire Twilight Realm will be unlocked, and there will be something to do instead of wallowing in debt for 50 turns.

This is a great-looking Lets Play, my good sir, and I'm eager for the next instalment!

One note on using Sol Cannons however, as they are a very tricky unit to play with. The shots fired by Sol guns are rediculously powerful and will kill most units on contact, but since the shell separates in mid air it always falls short and can incinerate your own people. (I've seen a Sol Cannon hit its own crew before now ) Don't use it on buildings, but instead on approaching enemies - the shells will explode right in the middle of the enemy frontline and wipe out whole swathes of soldiers) just never forget about them (either on auto-fire or aiming at a target) and never (ever) let your own soldiers stand anywhere between it and it's target. It's not pretty.

The estimable Eldren has already said everything that needs to be said about sieges, but I'll reiterate something anyway - you cannot destroy or scale most walls in custom settlements. (normal settlements can be attacked as normal however). Some places in the Twilight Realm will be perfectly okay to attack with rams and things, but there's one or two that are just awkward.

I'm not 100% sure about this, but I think the settlements with indestructible walls also don't have working towers. So they won't shoot and destroy your siege equipment on their own. I actually think these ones are easier to get into for this reason.
Also I'll reiterate what VictorAYorke said: I'm pretty sure it's only custom settlements that have indestructible walls.

I'm guessing your first Kokiri chapter is still in the works?
