My installation process was as follows:
I'm running Windows 8. UAC was completely disabled to start with.
I installed my non-steam versions of Medieval 2 and Kingdoms under D:\Games.
I then installed SS6.3, running the exe as administrator.
Afterwards, I installed SS6.4, running as administrator once again.
Then, I downloaded melooo182's bugfix compilation and pasted it over the mod.
Also, I downloaded G5 settlement fixes all in 1 and extracted them over the mod.
Afterwards, I went to the properties of the SS launcher exe, the SS setup exe, plus the medieval 2 and kingdoms exes and checked "run as administrator" for all of them.
Then, I ran the setup, and checked Savage AI, weak heretics, permanent arrows and permanent watchtowers.
The game never crashed on the strat map or in open field battles, but it crashes during sieges 95% of the time. I managed to play 3-4 sieges by messing around with the g5 stuff in the setup (the emergency ctd battle fix and the rbai update), but it only worked for one siege battle every time, crashing again on the next, and I have no idea why exactly it worked in those cases either. One thing I noticed is that when I'm loading a siege battle, below the sword loading bar there is a thin white line, which is absent when loading the game, strat map or open field battles.
My log and save file are here.

Please help. I looked through numerous past threads about the same issue, but found nothing that could help me.
