Scheduled Executions

[Pontifex Maximus]

Several men had been lined up, each with a block in front of him and a basket beneath the block. Several men had been "discovered" and "evidence" had been gathered indicating their guilt in the torture, rape, and murder of the Queen and her ladies. It had been a brutal scene, for those who had seen it. Gregor Clegane walked into this scene with his greatsword resting on his shoulder. Someone was shouting something and it appeared prayers were being, maybe it was a septon, Gregor didn't care. He walked to the condemned man closest to him. He looked beaten up, who knows if the men had been under Gregor's command or not. He didn't recognize them at least, and it wouldn't have mattered if he had. The Septon was still droning on when Gregor raised his sword and swung it in a wide arc, decapitating the man where he stood. Gregor hadn't bothered to make him kneel. The second man recoiled, and so Gregor simply hacked the man in two around the midsection. The third man knelt, accepting his fate, and his head soon filled a bucket. The fourt tried to run, but Gregor caught him and beat him to death with a mailed fist, slowly, until the skull was sunken in and unrecognizable.

Lord Lucion Lannister, Hand of the King, watched Ser Gregor botched the execution, but at least got it done. These men who trumped up on charges and nobodies as well; they were convicted of crimes of which they were not guilty, but still made to be guilty for the sake of appearances. After Gregor was finished, a couple soldiers came over to clean up the mess and collect the corpses. The Hand did not remain for long, he had to report to this to the King and others who probably desired some form of news involving this particular matter.
