Invisible shields and other weapons

I just got the mod. I'm playing as the Iceni and I am at war with the Demetae. In the battles the shields become invisible. Any ideas? Or is this a wide bug?

Welcome to the forum,

there are different solutions/reasons for this.

1) Some units dont have shields, but still having the animation like they are holding one, like in your posted screenshot. I think this will be fixed by the Modding Team or CA.

2) Do you use the Steam version? Maybe something went wrong at the download. Unlikely, but possible=> I suggest to redownload the whole thing and in that matter you could use the standalone version which is a bit more stable than the steam version.

3) Something on your end went wrong, verify gamecache.
