Default After King Robert's Coronation - A conversation between Lord Jon Arryn and Ser Andar Baelish

OOC: @Oznerol I thought I'd start this now since the coronation looks like it's coming to an end.

IC: Ser Andar Baelish had heard from his son Petyr that Lord Jon Arryn wished to speak with him. He was always one for being on time, now more than ever he would not be late after receiving a summon from a Lord Paramount.

Ser Andar approached the room that Lord Jon had summoned him to where members of the Arryn household guard stood watch.

"And who are you?" The proud guard said.

"I am Ser Andar of House Baelish. Lord Arryn requested that I speak with him."

    "Let him pass"

    Lord Jon said.

"Ser Andar, you served me well during the rebellion, if my memory don't fail me your charge of the cavalry was instrumental for the victory over the realists. My trust wasn't fooled, and you were indeed a loyal man, knighted after the battle, you won your spurs that day"

    Ser Andar enters the room.

"I thank you my lord for your kind words but I'm just doing my duty, the battle was won thanks to your leadership and the courage of Ser Denys who I heard fought marvellously. Ser Jon Elesham knighted me that day, he says that the flank he was fighting in was about to route before the cavalry arrived. I will never forget the moment when Ser Jon placed his sword upon my shoulder and said the words... until the day I die, I will remember."

Jon gives him a sealed parchment:

"For your good services and loyalty to the Vale, I Lord Jon Arryn, Warden of the West, Defender of the Vale and Lord of the Eyrie, hereby name you Lord of the Keep of Midlor Point and all it sworn lands, so you may serve me as a landed knight, raised to the honor of being counted as one of the Lords in the Vale"

He then grabs a sword laying by his side on a table. Its scabbard was light blue, the hilt of steel and the pommel a falcon:

"This I gift you as symbol of your new authority as Lord, and thus you will remember to one you owe loyalty and fealty. Serve me well, Lord Andar Baelish of Midlor Point"

Jon hands the sword to Lord Andar.

Jon hands the sword to Lord Andar.
Andar grips the sword and parchment and for a moment he is speechless as he stares at them before looking up at Lord Jon and bending to his knee.

"My Lord... thank you, you do me a great honour. I swear by the Seven that your faith will not be misplaced. From this day until my last day I swear by the Seven to serve House Arryn. This sword will pass down my family as an heirloom alongside my grandfathers armour so that every Baelish will remember to whom we owe fealty."
