Problem
Hi in custom battles I was playing a siege, why does my army start on the side of the castle wall when Ithought it should start by the gate.Now I have to go all the way around just to ram the gate? Also I was wondering if dirty peasant included this unit in the game because I dont see a particular unit with this helm?

Well, ok, i can say something to this, but Drak will response still better.
First, you can ram also wooden walls and the little stone walls, second you can raise siege equipment (catapults and trebuchets).
Don't know, about which unit you are talking.

If you are talking about the general, then he is, the others I believe are in high or late era.
As for the sieges, well, unfortunately I dont know how to change the starting location, but you can line up your units to start closer to the gate. In fact I'm sure you can almost line up right in front of the gate, because I've done it many times. Remember, you can start anywhere inside the area designated by the line which corresponds to your faction.

what do you mean? You mean you cant build them, or you dont see the AI using them, or both? I believe they require a siege workshop to be built.

... correct, siege-workshop and upgrade possible to siege engineer.
They are used as well by the AI, and the AI uses the trebuchet pretty smart.
