Yes the textures seem a bit off. Then again The first days of Star wars the clone wars, had pretty crapy animation. It became better over time.

Changed my mind after the longer trailers. This looks good enough to give a try. I feel the villains will make or break this for me though.

Hmm.

Personally I thought the best clone wars by far (visually and storytelling) was the very first arc of twenty or so 2-3 minute shorts which seemed to use old school cel animation rather than CGI.
