Default Introduction to Sebidee's Unit Roster Overhaul

    Hello everyone,

Welcome to the hosted forum for Sebidee's Unit Roster Overhaul. We will be doing a lot of stuff in this mod, the largest part of it will be the addition of units. Currently that is in the area of 250 although it is very likely that that number will rise. We will also be changing several other things such as the appearance and stats of many vanilla unit, the auxiliary, mercenary and garrison systems, the appearance of generals and officers and certain battlefield mechanics. There will also be a naval overhaul at a later date.

The goal of this mod is to significantly increase player choice when choosing his armies, we also aim to improve gameplay by adding unique units with specific roles that must be used tactically to be effective. We are also paying attention to historical accuracy and will blend new units with the old to make sure that player immersion will be lost.

The mod will be released in stages with each of the factions having their own mod. We expect those standalones to be finished in early September. They will then be compiled into one mod and given a few extras and will be released as a single roster overhaul about a month later.

This overhaul and all of the mods included in it will have language supporty from the UPC unit mod compatibility project and will be translated intoCzech, German, Italian, French, Spanish, Russian, Polish and Turkish. It's a fantastic mod, check it out!

Pergamon and Massalia will be in the next mod for the Greek states. We haven't started any kind of research on Colchis and Cimmeria yet but they will be done eventually.

This might not be the right place to ask, but in your completed overhaul, could you remove the ability to recruit mobs from slums? It irks me when I see the AI recruit 2-3 for their grand army of high end units just cause they conquered a region with slums.

The steam link for "Notitia Dignatarum 2.0 compatible with old Royal Peltasts" doesn't seem to be working.
