Historical Battle tutorial?
Apologies if this is in the wrong place, I was wondering if there is any introductory tutorial for historical battles? I can get the editor itself working, but I was wondering if there is any documentation on what the editor can and can't do, how it compiles the data and how the historical files in the RTW directory are arranged?
I understand CA released a tutorial at one point but that it is no longer available from their site.

Re: Historical Battle tutorial?
In order to make our own historical battles, we need the battle editor feature, which is available to R.T.W. 1.5. You don't need the patch if you have installed B.I. Then, we make a shortcut of the game's .exe in a location( in a folder, on desktop, ...) and we add it's path by adding " -enable_editor".
When you run the game with this sortcut, in the options submenu, there would be an option called the battle editor. From the map, we select our battle's location and then we load the editor by clicking on "next".
In the editor, on the bottom of the screen there are some icons. Each one has a label that describes it's function.
Before making your own battle, i suggest to open an already excisting battle and see what changes have been made there. Try some functions on your own, and if you have any questions please post them to discuss.
