    Default Raid on Tumbleton

Having stood his ground against his grasping and over-reaching son-in-law, Lord Hoster Tully moved from Darry toward the God's Eye, and from there south-westward toward the lands owing allegiance to House Tyrell - the rich, fertile lands of the Reach. He marches in direction of Tumbleton, already harassed by the ravages of this latest conflict but a strategic fort to secure for the Stag's cause.

    Detection Roll: Rolled a 14

11-15, the peasants muster a defence, and report the identity of the attackers by rider to the local keep. Proceed to Perception Roll.

    Perception Roll: Rolled a 4.

The local populace are able to identify that the raiders appear to be Rivermen but they cannot discern anything more about the raiders.

Raid Roll: Rolled a 19. Technically 19% of your army should have been killed but that seems too much for a raid. I will limit the deaths to 500 light cavalry.

    Loot Roll: Rolled a 13. 13% of 50,000 is 6,500 Dragons looted.

Having taken plenty of loot from the vicinity, Brynden Tully and his men proceeded to the local holdfast, demanding its surrender to the might of House Tully of Riverrun.

OOC: I think Tumbleton is still under the Stormlands control.

OOC: According to one of Axis' posts he abandoned the keep, as far as I knew.
It doesn't matter anyways since the Reach will bow to Lord Robert and therefore support the rebells, so the castle would be in any case an automatic ally of the Riverlands as well for the period of the war.

OOC: So did I automatically garrison the place since it was abandoned or..?

It doesn't matter now since the war is over and the Reach still controls Tumbleton.

If it surrendered to me and I garrisoned it, that's income I'm losing.

Again, the war is over and you don't control Tumbleton as your own province. The occupation rules do not apply in this regard since the Reach has bowed out of the war and there was no treaty stating that they had to give up their territory.

I'm saying that last year, while the war was still ongoing, Tumbleton would have surrendered and I would have occupied it until the end of the war, giving me one turn's income for the place, according to how many I could garrison inside it.

You are misinterpreting the rules. There is no occupation since the Reach bowed out on Wednesday. You can only tax the province on the new year which is today and since the Reach did not fight all the way until today, you do not get to tax it.
