Aah, great, I was too stupid to understand what you meant with main post.
I am sure we can make a lot from only this already

Re: [Collaboration] Construction of the Campaign Framework (WIP)
Yep, take a look of what I have already, feel free to complement it and point out any big error I may have made.
So now is left two or three difficult regions: Scythia and Sarmatia, than left germania, illyricum, greece, thrace, dacia, raethica, transalpine and finally rome.

Re: [Collaboration] Construction of the Campaign Map (WIP)
Allright, I finished all regions and put the maps into the first and second post above.
We now have to decide which blank map to use for our campaign map. We will mark cities and regions that are present at the current map and implement them into our mod and add more detailed regions and cities in the case CA released TEd mapping tools.
I am taking a break now after that push on research.
Cheers
Alec

Re: [Collaboration] Construction of the Campaign Map (WIP)
Great, take your break.
You did a great job today. We'll find a blank map.
A possibility is this map:
It's simple and usefull. I got the Original which is not compressed and has lines which makes even ms paint enough for this job, however I was planning to use Photoshop.

Looks pretty sweet if you ask me! BTW can you send/link me your original map, I want to take a look how big it is. Also it's awesome, we will definitely just use photoshop.

Re: [Creative] Concept & Idea Pool
I've done some sample UI for the Roman building chains. I'm not the most talented with regards to this, but these are sort of what I'm thinking:

Re: [Collaboration] We are looking for all you Roma Surrectum II people out there!
Good luck with this. Though I don't have time for modding now, I would love to see the work we did on RS2 taken forward. You're free to use any of our work.

Introduction: alecwermuth
Hello, let us introduce our team one by one! I'll make a start:
Introduction
As you people already know I've been bringing this project to life. There is not much to say about me except that I am a big fan of ancient history and disappointed of Total War: Rome II's current state. I've been and am playing Roma Surrectum II since release and have yet to see a similar experience for Total War: Rome II.
Modding History
I've been working on Authentic Ancient World for about half a year now. I can work with PFM, Assembly Kit, Photoshop and Wwise.
Relation to Authentic Ancient World
I was using Divide et Impera for a long time, but since about version 0.5 there were more and more features added which did not go along with my visions on authenticity, depth and immersion. After sub-modifiying Divide et Impera for a while and unsuccessfully trying to join the team, I started to redesign Authentic Ancient World into a standalone modification. A while after that, I established a contact with dvk901 and decided to redesign Authentic Ancient World once more and take over the initiative to create the one modification I was looking for myself.
Relation to Roma Surrectum II
Roma Surrectum II was and is my most favorite modification out there. This is simply, because playing Roma Surrectum II made me embrace ancient history. It is no secret, that I put authenticity, depth and immersion above all, since I am not a classical gamer, but more a role player that is fascinated by ancient history. Roma Surrectum II is probably the most in-depth and immersive modification out there and the paragon of the representation of the ancient era. Hopefully Authentic Ancient World can pursuit the legacy of Roma Surrectum II and add a focus of authenticity to it.
I have Roma Surrectum II installed.
Profile
Which is your favorite faction? Why?
Macedon, because I am a huge fan of the romanticized legend of Alexander the Great.
Describe yourself or your working style with a few adjectives.
creative with a high focus on authenticity, depth, detail, high quality, immersion and structure

Re: [Collaboration] Construction of the Campaign Map (WIP)
Yes, perfect, glad you joined the group. About the map, I would like to use this map, since it is 4000x3000 pixels. Not sure if we should remove the trade routes or just color them down a bit so they don't mess up with our upcoming regions and provinces we gonna draw into that map:
I will talk to you soon, about the next steps!

Re: [Collaboration] Construction of the Campaign Map (WIP)
That's good map too, I took once for one of my mods the clickgen custom battle map, we might point the cities on that one and then we dont have any problems with traderoutes anymore.
I don't have time to work this afternoon, but I guess I'll have some time at this moment.

Re: [Collaboration] Construction of the Campaign Map (WIP)
Ok, couldn't find any maps, so I decided to go on with photoshop.
Unfortunate enough, I don't have more time to go on with it right now, but will go on ASAP.
