March on King's Landing
Lord Hoster Tully poured over the war reports, again and again, deep in thought. The losses at Rayonet and Rosby had been big blows, ones that reverberated throughout the Seven Realms. King Robert had beaten back in haste to his own lands and the Starks and Arryns dragged their feet. Enough! he cried.
He unsheathed his knife, his treasured knife, a gift from his late mother - so ornate and intricate, with the Tully trout carved into the hilt. A wry smile on his face, he plunged it into the very heart of the realm - King's Landing.
Send the ravens, we march on the morrow.
Three great forces would march from the Riverlands into the Crownlands. In the east Lord Hoster with his best knights would race down the road, hopefully catching the Prince unawares until they appeared at the very gates of the capital. Behind him, a larger force would follow by the same way, more likely to meet the Prince and his men than he, but if the Seven willed it, appearing with Lord Hoster at the capital's gate before the Prince and his men had time to rally and sally forth.
In the west the remnants of the armies at Rayonet and Rosby would march around the back of the God's Eye, passing through Chyttering Brook down the road to King's Landing. Seven willing Lord Hoster would have made enough noise in the east to draw the Prince away from Rayonet and the Riverlander border.

Arrival at King's Landing
Ser Brynden Tully
+3 Battles, +2 Scout, +1 Pathfinder, +3 Duelist, +3 Survival
Like every second son, Brynden Tully had a lot to prove. Or at least, he felt that way, never more on the day when he was forced to flee in shame back to Harrenhal as the Dragon's forces routed his own. He had remained there only a short while, merely long enough to receive another raven from his brother - now his commander and superior. A raven which left him flabbergasted and rather short of breath. Rallying his men and adding to them the tattered remnants of Paragon's forces, he reluctantly obeyed his brother's orders and raced southward, rounding the God's Eye and once more daring to cross into the Crownlands, brazenly taking the road in direction of King's Landing.
Every mile marched brought another sigh of relief - of relief and apprehension. The Dragon Prince was nowhere to be seen, nor his men - the road was clear, almost...ready to receive him and his men.
Ser Jonothor Paragon
+3 Charisma, +2 Battles, +1 Assassin
His second-in-command was the resourceful and talented Ser Jonothor Paragon, hitherto the commander of another force, likewise mauled by the Dragon's advance. It was only natural, therefore, as the capital came into view, that Brynden chose Jonothor to go forth and treat at the gates.
