Icon1 Can't change drive for installation of Medieval II Total War Gold Edition.

    Hi.
I picked up Medieval II a little while ago and got the gold edition because it was cheaper to get them together. Now, when I go to install it, there aren't any options to change drive or anything. My C drive is already pretty full with the operating system, and I'd rather not install it there. I have tried going to windows explorer, going to m2tw/disk1 and using setup.exe, which has worked, but it only installs the base game, not kingdoms. I would definitely like to have kingdoms because the main reason I picked the game up was to get the Third Age Total War mod. Thanks in advance.

    Two things to get used.

    1. You will need 9gb of free space on C: drive before you can pick a different drive. It's hardcoded.
    2. You may end run it by running the setup.exe on the disc instead of the autorun.exe. No promises. It's been too many years.

There is no third option but use the discs to play frisbee with the dog.

OK, thanks. There are 35 gb on my c:drive, so I guess I can just install it on there. Also, i have tried using setup.exe on the disc, but I can't get the kingdoms then.

I've run the setup.exe for all of them before.
1.2 and 1.3 patches and Kingdoms are in their folders.
