What you took dozens or even hundreds of turns to do, Frodo did in something like 8 turns since the formation of The Fellowship.

even if there is nothing scripted, a new pope will spawn and thats it, it does not matter name or skin are only a fancy thing

I've played some 300+ turn campaigns before. 400 isn't completely out of the realm of possibility.
Ngugi and EK are right. You'll simply get a new pope. I believe you can test this if you want without waiting for him to die of old age. You can use a console command to kill him or teleport your army up there to kill him.
