    Icon1 Increasing starting money.

For which ever faction I choose to play, how do I change the starting money I have? I know how to do it in other TW games. Is it the same as E:TW? Because I can't figure it out for the life of me.

I don't know how to do that, but there is a program that can be used to edit savegames, and that lets you edit your treasury. I think it's called ESF-edit, but not sure. There is a link about it in the modding forums.

Alright, I'll give that a go. The thing is that it is exactly the same as adding money in ETW and ETW: Darthmod; it is only different when you get the factions economies.

In TW-1, there are no "Description" and "Original Value" whereas in the TW picture, there is. However, both pictures have the "Type" columns.

Now, if the TW-1 picture were like the TW picture, then in the "Original Value" box there would be 4000 as that is how much the Takeda start out with. That is not the case though.

So, in the TW-1 picture, do you believe that changing it from "System.lnt32" to "lnt32" will solve that issue? Because I kinda iffy on that part because it doesn't even have the starting amount under the Faction Economics in the first place.

As far as I can see you are editing the startpos-file. I can't help with that, sorry. In the savegames from vanilla S2tw the value in faction_economics is the same as the amount of koku in the game.

Also you apparently can't edit techs in s2tw like you could in etw - too bad.

With the ESF Editor 1.4.8.0 I call pull up the save games, except once I open it an error occurs as is evident in the picture. It's annoying. With the ESF Editor 1.4.8.0 I can pull up the save games and that is it. With the Pack File Manager 3.2.1 I can pull up files as if I were going to edit the money and anything else like in ETW, except it wont let me make those changes in S2TW.

    It's quite aggravating.

I keep hearing this in different posts. I assume that vanilla is the non modded version of a Shogun 2 game? Because I haven't added any mod's. Only the Darthmod to ETW. Do you suppose that if I were to delete the Darthmod, that I might be able to mod the S2 starting koku

    DON'T USE ESF 1.4.8!
It's corrupting the saves. Use the far more stable 1.4.5. And you'll be done in seconds.
