Default Your Point of View on my campaign, where to go and what Alliances to break.

    So,

Me being the little that I am during strategic games I can't really decide what I want to do next in my Romani Campaign.
It's hard for me because I have fun allies in the Helvetti, a strong opponent in the Lusitani if I want to expand west and good ally in the Hellenic League. The North is uncharted territory for me and that scares me. What terrors do the northern tribes hold for me?
Do I expand east, west, south or north? Which alliances do I break and which do I want to keep?

My legions are equally spread over North (1 Legion + Helvettii allies), East (2 Legions + Hellenic League ally) and West (Helvetti presence and my 2 best Legions with best generals) , the South is fairly unprotected against any invasions by the Southern Factions like Carthage and Nomad factions.
The Getae have allot op pressure so won't be a problem for quite some time, the Lusitani have a firm grip over Spain and are pusing into Gaul. From the north the Nervii, Boii and Suebi are formitable foes.

How would you guys progress? What would you guys do?

Interesting position you are into. With the given border you can control your northern border pretty nicely.
One option would be to declare war on carthage and establish a good relation with the egyptians. A decent navy make carthago easy to conquer. After carthage take as much of gaul as possible and try to establish some allies to protect your northern border. From this point of take out spain and the world will be yours soon

Another thing you may try is to go for it and try to get a war on two fronts: one in Iberia and another in Africa. Iberia can give you an enormous amount of money early on, and Africa...well, you'll be wiping the Carthaginians out, so that's always a bonus =p (plus, Africa is a very sweet spot for a trading province, that can develop into an economic powerhouse eventually). In the North, if you control Cisalpina you should be good and can wait until your other armies have finished the job. If your Imperium allows it, you should get a second spie to watch the northern border, just so you can reinforce your allies where/when needed. After that, take your strongest legions and storm the North (huge amount of land is always nice, plus, it's historical). May the odds be ever in your favor.

So what you two are basically saying is control your Northern and Eastern borders and start conquering the South and Western Borders ( Spain, Africa).
Cool, seems great advice. I won't start a two fronts war though. Didn't work out for other great leaders last time I opened my History books soooooo nope
I might start with conquering Sicily and Corsica et Sardinia. After that move through Carthage and work my way up to Spain and back to Massilia. Ally with the Egyptians and hope they take some bites out of the Carthaginians aswell.

    How about that? Good plan?

Good indeed. However, I'd hope the Egyptians don't try to take Carthage out or else you may have to share Africa with them...or attack them, which could also be part of your evil, world-domination plan =p

Sooo I'm here with a little update

I've taken Corsica et Sardinia, and a part of Sicily.
Egypt moved up their timeline and is friendly with Carthage without me knowing.
They declared war on me last turn, which I'm buzzing about because Africa is going to get ED UP.

I'm the Junia, and me and my legions are here to up.

wow you're campaign has turned out so differently to mine, apart from sparta kicking everyones ass. In mine massalia and suebi have become super powers and maesayli control all of carthages old provinces after it retook them from syracuse.
