    Default is it the CPU?

    hello all, i was hoping that someone here may be able to identify a problem i have with my gaming computer. i was playing RTW on tuesday night, when all of a sudden the game froze. that's ok i had teamspeak running so it freezes on occasion, but then it wouldnt recover. so i turned off the computer manually and waited 5 min. then when i tried to restart the computer the CPU fan's speed increased dramatically and nothing would appear on the monitor. the Fan's speed was high enough to make me nervous. does anyone know if this is a PSU failure, or error, or the CPU, or the motherboard? any help is greatly appreciated!

    intel i925x motherboard
    350w PSU
    2 GB DDR2 RAM
    80 GB maxtor HD
    200 GB maxtor HD
    X1600XT 256 mb
    P4 HT @ 3.0 Ghz
