    Wow, looks stunning so far! I know this can be changed, but my only problem with the mod from what I've seen so far is the tiny tiny unit rosters. They're all 8-9 units. I think you can add slightly more and still keep the factions unique. (It'd be bad if you added more of every kind because a game with homogenized factions is boring) Maybe for Gondor 1 expensive small numbers cav unit (Knights of Dol Amroth?) and have a low armor cheap archer unit. (I'm assuming Gondorian Archers are highly armored like at Minas Tirith.) And possibly another spear/sword unit.
    Sorry just my ramble, don't think I'm hating on this mod! Just constructive criticism.
    SO EXCITED! It'll be worth the wait I'm sure.

    Don't expect too monotonous factions. Rohan wont only have cavalry and Gondor not only heavy infantry, but these types are their strengths. The posted rosters represent the units we want to create in the first interation. They are mainly the units from the movies so we have a lot of references.

    But you are right: It is really difficult to keep the balance between monotonous rosters and homogenized factions.

    that would be from Middle earth roleplaying project for skyrim that got shut down a while ago. I know this because i use that armor literally all the time

    Really nice! in my opinion your doing a wonderful job and if I dare say better than the rohan thread butt I might be wrong.. and before everyone starts hating me I don't hate the rohan thread actually their my favorite faction! but if they keep the pointy helmet and not being accurate to the book or movie their going to look like medieval mod v.2. anyway really nice Vikus-Van-de-Merwe!

    Thank you, but as you maybe read in the other forum, the Rohan preview thread is not ours.

    Here a newer picture of the Fountain Guard with some bigger and some smaller improvements (as you can see the correct weapon is in work, too). For example I added an alpha-channel to the feather's textures to get the correct shapes.

    Their mod is based on the book, this one is based on the film, so of course the units will be dramatically different. Saying one team is better than the other and that they need to be taught how to make units is very rude in my opinion.
