The last of his father's army delivered ashore to Crackclaw Point, Ser Andar Royce ordered the fleet of The Vale to bend its oars West and deeper into the Bay of Crabs.
"This makes me uneasy, My Lord." Ser Jonothor Wydman, his second-in-commands said aboard the command deck of The Rememberence. The triple-decker was the pride of the Royce fleet, though not nearly so majestic as Marq Grafton's Wrath of Gulltown. As always, the thought of his erstwhile foster-father filled Andar with regret. He had to confess to having some unease to fighting this war. He loved his father, and Jon Arryn fiercely and he grieved to see his liege so wounded by the mad king, and yet Lord Grafton had argued it was madness to go against the Targaryens. He had believed it so fervently he had paid for it with his life and Andar had been deemed the next best man to take over the fleet. 'Put that aside for now.' He chided himself.
"How so Jonothor?" He asked the older man.
"The Bay of Crabs gets frightful narrow past Shellfish Head, My Lord. We'll find the Darry fleet right enough, but I worry we're leaving the rest of The Vale open to invasion by doing this. And what of the Crackclaw fleets? They were..."
"Peace Jonothor." Andar interrupted. "We have seen neither hide nor hair of the Crackclaw fleets for the entire journey along the Northern coastline. They must all be in Blackwater Bay. The Darry and Mooton fleets may not be the largest, but they could still be a thorn in our side unless we remove it from the fight. Those are our orders, and that is what we must do."
"Aye My Lord." Wydman replied glumly.
'And I cannot blame him.' Andar thought. 'This whole war is mad.'

OOC: What happened to this? The royal fleet has had time to muster and enter the Bay of Crabs by now, but this battle would have happened long before that.
