The Southern Vale army waded ashore to the grim, bog strewn peninsular known as Crackclaw point. 'Awful place, this.' Yohn Royce thinks. 'But if Jon wants it then he shall have it.'
"Very well Ser Albar, you know what to do." He gave the nod to his nephew.
"Yes, My Lord." The young knight replied as he vaulted onto his horse and led 250 of the light cavalry away to scout along the Northern Coast of the peninsular.
"Captain Hallis, may The Seven watch over you."
"Aye, My Lord." The squat, leg-shaped man replied as he led a further 250 light horse to scout the Southern Coast of the peninsular.
"Alright boys, let's press on towards Brownhollow! I want siege works beginning before night fall!" Bronze Yohn Royce calls out to his army.

A few hours later and the Valemen came withing site of the small holdfast of Brownhollow, held by a cadet branch of House Brune.
"It's not much to look at My Lord." Strong Sam Stone said. And he was right, a loose stone wall surrounding a tiny stone keep, really more of a towerhouse. "It shouldn't take much to assault that."
"Aye, but remember these men are fighting for their homes and families. Ride out and offer them our terms Ser Samwell, if you would."
"Aye My Lord." The brawny captain-of-the guard replied, putting heels to his horse and riding out ahead of the force bearing the peace banner.
"Ho the holdfast! Ho!" He calls out

The Scouting Party going to the Whispers returns reporting nothing but a ruined, deserted fortress. (Nothing there anyway)

The Scouting Party going to Dyre Den report the castle gates are barred and a small garrison mans the walls. They are unable to reliably estimate, but suggest anything from a few dozen to two hundred may be defending. (Low roll but some information gained)

    Surrender Roll:

    Basic Roll: 5/20 chance
    Modifiers: +10 due
    Final Roll: 15/20

Rolled a 15, the defenders of Crackclaw after spewing out many words of defiance and vulgary ultimately surrender to the Royce host.
