IE7 is now released.
Not that I'm switching from Opera, but have anyone tried it? CTO of Opera Software, Håkon Wium Lie, called it 'a used car with a new paint job'.

Well. IE7 doesent have anything that FF dosent already have, and I still think that IE7 still only has something like 56 bit encryption?

Hmm.. Tried it, and it's same crap as before, good old IE. I mean, didn't find anything wrong with it(yet) but nothing special neither. I'll stick with the Firefox.![]()

Im downloading now just to see how it is but I still will be sticking with firefox.
I've been using the IE7 beta for quite some time. I just like the look more than Firefox. It works well, and the tabs are nice. Can't wait to get home and DL to final version.
At the moment I use IE 7 RC 1. For those who have the full, what (if any) differences are there?
"In a blow to Microsoft Corp., a Danish security company on Thursday reported a vulnerability in the software giant's newly released web browser that could let an attacker gain access to documents over the internet.
"A vulnerability has been discovered in Internet Explorer, which can be exploited by malicious people to disclose potentially sensitive information," Secunia said in an advisory on its website." From CBC.ca
So, any news on the linux support?
//joking.
I use Netscape 8.1.2... best of both worlds. It has the features of FireFox with even more security and an integrated spyware cleaner; and the compatibility of IE. One feature I really like about it is that you can opt to display pages as either IE or FF; really neat feature.
Took the new IE7 out for a spin last night and this morning and didn't find anything to wow me. Normal FireFox still beats it by far... it just looks like they copied some of the popular features of FireFox, Netscape and Opera; without adding anything new themselves.
