    Default Nforce 590 Networking issues

    Hi Guys,

After I finally got my new rig up and running, for some reason the network card refuses to work correctly I get "this device cannot find enough resources that it can use Code 12" error.

does anyone else have Nforce590 based networking?

Im sorry for my lack of knowledge but its quite a rare problem. though i read that a BIOS update should work out the problem check the motherboard manufacturer website for an update. If you already are running the latest, then you can go to the device manager and select the network adapter and press the troubleshoot button so the operatingsystem detects what device is in conflict with your networkadapter. Disable that other device. The error means that the bios or the operatingsystem has given 2 units the same I/O port or the same DMA channel. let me know if something in my message is not clear.

I have the Nvidia 590, my guess it might be using the Windows drivers, and not the drivers that came with the motherboard CD. Try it, also tell me more about your computer, and if you are trying to bridge the dual lan.

I have truied both the drivers from the CD and from the Nvida page Niether work. I cannot bridge the connections as they do not even show up. The Nvida networking also does not appear in the nvidia control panel

Edit: the switch ports are lit up when the nic is plugged in.
