Default Reinforcing garrison army not damaged after a fight

I don't know if this issue has been brought up already, but I have a very frustrating experience fighting reinforcing garrison armies.

Every time I crush it, it not being damaged on campaign map and city has full garrison while my army has been reduced in the fight.

Is it an issue in R2 itself or does DeI have anything to do with it?

I think and hope this has to do with DEI. This was implemented possibly to slow AI and user expansion because in .85 after 200 turns, about 222 AD, I consistently had 6-10 factions in the entire map which is completely ahistorical given the rate of Rome's expansion.

The thing about DeI's timeline is that you can't think of the 4 turns per year as 4 turns per year. The reason DeI used a turn based system for its reforms instead of a year-based system is because it would take too long. You have to think of the campaign as 1 turn per year in terms of "what's happened" but in 4 turns per year for gameplay.

Understandable. And that's why by the time 1.1 comes out I think will see more small changes like this to make it feel closer to an actual 4 turns per year scheme in relation to expansion such as extra garrison units for main building and what shadeslider is describing.

As far as I know, we haven't changed anything with damage to reinforcing garrisons. I am not even sure if there is a setting for that. If someone knows of it, then please let me know.
