Default Bryhtnyng Trading Company headquarters. Ryamsport, The Arbor.

Headquarters Tier 1 guildhouse. Small Trading Company - Ryamsport, The Arbor
A small, weathered building near the docks of Ryamsport it was a cheap suite of ground floor rooms that Ferrego was able to locate thanks to his contacts. It is very near to the small private wharf that Bryhtnyng purchased shortly after his arrival. Visitors will find themselves shown into a rundown, but clean suite of rooms that face South and let in plenty of light.

    Assets Tier 1.
    1. Small cog. "Lusty Lass" based out of Ryamsport.
    Tier 2
    1. Trade hulk."Purple Bounty" based out of Ryamsport.

    Ythan Bryhtnyng. Age: 35.
    Rank: Lesser Merchant.
A native of The Stepstones, Ythan is something of a mongrel counting Lyseni, Tyroshi, Dornish, and Stormlander blood as running in his veins. He grew up in the lawless Stepstones and has always relied on his wits to survive. Growing up in the Stepstones his survival instincts have been sharpened to a razor's edge, and Ythan quickly realised he had a talent for commerce and intrigue. It did not take long for him to become the major fence for the pirates, thieves, and general unsavoury characters that passed through the islands. He shortly became very wealthy indeed and was one of the most influential men in the islands. However, with that power came enemies in abundance and the need for security more important. He hired a disgraced Braavosi second mate, named Ferrego, who had been left on the islands for killing the first mate in a fight over a woman. In the Braavosi; Ythan found his equal in cunning and the soon men soon became fast friends and rose to become undisputed masters of the shadier dealing on the Stepstones. However, such good times were not to last. The powers that ruled over Myr decided that Ythan was becoming too powerful and had to be removed. One move in the great game. Thanks to Ferrego; Ythan survived, but not without losing everything. Upon his friend's recommendation however the two men left the stepstones for good and were last seen making their way west. To Westeros.

    Ferrego Parnel. Age: 43.
Rank: Freedman. A Braavosi and former sailor, much of Parnel's past is shrouded in mystery though there are rumours that even before he was a sailor he was a famous bravo. What is known is he is a devastating fighter, preferring to wield two long knives, his speed and agility is second-to-none and his ruthlessness in battle is not far behind. After his exile on the Stepstones Ferrego found steady work as bodyguard to the merchant Ythan Brytnyng. He surprised himself by starting to like the man, this was helped by the fact that the man paid well and helped Ferrego to achieve a modicum of power and respect. It was his idea for the two men to head to the Sunset Kingdoms.

"Do you see this my friend?" Ythan smiled as he pointed out towards the small fleet that was assembling in the harbor. It was not the greater part of Lord Redwyne's force, that was assembling elsewhere on the island, at Starfish Harbor. "War!" He grinned as his companion grunted in agreement. "And where there is war there is profit, we just need to find the right lever to push which leads us too..."
"My cousin, yes." Ferrego replies to his employer or partner, he wasn't really clear about their relationship anymore only that the merchant brought him wealth and respectability, and he was also a bad man to cross. "I will contact him shortly."
"No, point him out to me and I will contact him myself, I have something else for you to do..."

A week after their meeting in Vinetown, Syrio approaches the guildhouse of Ythan. Dressed more like a Braavosi in a drab brown coat over a leather doublet, the only sign of his position of office is a clasp for his cloak bearing the sigil of the Watch. He knocks twice on the door and waits for a response.

He is shown into a small, dingy office where he sees Ythan sat behind a ramshackle desk. "Ah Syrio, welcome!" The merchant says with a smile, rising to his feet. "I apologise for the state of my lodgings but I took them for the location; near the harbor you see, besides it always pay to look less than you really are." He pauses looking significantly at Syrio's dress. "I'm sure you agree my friend."

"A man understands, friend Ythan. It is indeed better to appear lesser than you truly are to mislead your enemies and not draw attention to yourself." Syrio looks out the tiny window in the office, then turns around to Ythan. "A man has come to collect you for your meeting with the Lady Redwyne, the ones from the inn have to be tried and you could likely approach the lady after the trial if you so choose. Or testify against them, it is your choice."

Ythan nods. "I shall approach after the trial." He said with a smile. "Best to keep a low profile for now I think."

"A wise decision, friend Ythan. Arriving earlier may implicate you in the trial if either the chef or barkeep recognize you."

"My thoughts precisely friend Syrio." Bryhtnyng replied. "Shall we be off then?"

"Yes, friend Ythan. You do still have your mule, yes? It is a far shorter ride than the one to Vinetown, perhaps an hour."
