CTD w/ 1.7b + ER ("Enables Training of" Rt Click)

I am having some problems with a CTD and was hoping someone might be able to provide assistance:

When I right click on a unit in the "Enables training of" section of the scroll for a building that is not yet built, I immediately CTD with no error message.

Example:




Pertinent Info:
-This occurs for buildings using the building browser or building queue in all my cities.
-Have not checked to see if it happens with factions other than Romans.
-I have RTW and BI installed and patched to 1.5/1.6
-I made a copy of my RTW/BI 1.6 install and placed it in a folder called RTR PE within the activision directory
-I am running RTRPE patched from 1.6 full install to 1.7b with the latest ER mod using the BI engine
-I am not getting any error message
-My shortcut is: "C:\Program Files\Activision\Rome- Total Realism Platinum Edition\RomeTW-BI.exe" -show_err -mod:
-Other than that, I have not had any other problems in the campaign or battle map.

Any help would be appreciated, its not a show stopper, but its a tad annoying. I just installed rtr yesterday and so I have been going through building and unit descriptions to learn what is changed and bam! CTD.

AFAIK this is a known issue and I don`t think it can be fixed. It`s in the list(#2):

Well, that`s the official one. Sort of speak. RTRPE started there. We have more sub-forums there(one for mods and downloads, one for tech support and a privat sub-forum for the team).

You`re the hint kind of guy, right? I know about that one. The thing is that the list was made some time ago and that line was left there from the previous one. Anyway, the revolt thing should have been at least partially fixed by the settlement name change. The other part will probable be fixed with the changes Marcus is making for RTRPE v1.8 which should be out soon. I`ll take that line off from the list though.

Well, now I've got another CTD. Whenever I conquer a province and choose to exterminate the populace in MACEDONIAN settlements, the game crashes, no error msg.

There is a known CTD for all mods based on RTW v1.5 AFAIK. It occurs when you try to take the city. It doesn`t matter what option you choose and it`s random. You may get it 3 times in a row and not get it the 4th time. Now, are you saying that is occurs only for macedonian settlement, for all macedonian settlements and only when you click exterminate? It`s fine if you choose enslave?

I haven't done much testing, but so far it's done it 3 times for 3 different Macedonian settlements, each time with exterminate.

I get the same thing but its generally when i hit anything other than extermainate. Playing as the Seleucids. Had the same problem in Egypt got past it though. Its rather annoying when attacked three times after you have ended your turn only to have to go through it all again.

That's a known bug involving RTR build requirements and the 1.5/BI engine. It can be fixed, but we'd have to redo RTR from the ground up to do so.
