Default Lannisport, Seat of House Lannister of Lannisport

    Holdfast Lannisport

Lannisport is located along the coast of the Sunset Sea where the river road, the gold road, and the ocean road meet. It is one of the major ports of the seven Kingdoms and is the largest settlement in the Westerlands. Lannisport is smaller than King's Landing or Oldtown, but larger than Gulltown or White Harbor.
The Lannisters anchors their fleet in its harbor. The city is renowned for its goldwork. Lannisport is policed by the well-trained City Watch. The city is home to the cadet branch House Lannister of Lannisport and distant kin to the Lannisters like Lannys, Lannetts, Lantells, and other lesser Lannisters, many of whom are yellow of hair.

    Regional Bonuses:

    • Wealthy city: Lannisport is situated perfectly for making money. It sits at the meeting point of the sea road, the gold road and the river road, and is one of the largest ports in Westeros, allowing its owner one additional trade route.

    • City Watch: Lannisport is patrolled by the City Watch, renowned for being far better trained than their Oldtown counterparts. This gives Lannisport an additional 2,000 (distributed as 1,200 Light Infantry, 400 Heavy Infantry and 400 Archers) men for siege defense and -2 to assassinations, spying and escape rolls to foes within the city.

    • Home of the Westerlands Fleet: Lannisport serves as the home port for the Fleet of the Westerlands. Grants the owner of Lannisport an additional 150 naval points.

    Household House Lannister of Lannisport

House Lannister of Lannisport is a large collection of cadet branches of the main House Lannister line, who live in the city of Lannisport in the westerlands.

Lord Arryn's steward sends a reply:

Ser Gawen Lannister, shield of Lannisport, we appreciate your offer of trade. The pure gold of the West shall be of undeniable value for the war effort. We thank you for it. Our stone-cutters and masons will be sent with cargoes of stone as soon as possible.

A small pale girl rides bearing the standard of House Baelish. She requests an audience with the Lord of Lannisport on behalf of Lord Jon Arryn.

She pulls back her hood showing her face for the first time, you get a proper look at what she looks like:
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

"Greetings Ser Addam" she says as she curtseys "I am Ryelle of House Baelish, I have been sent here on behalf of my cousin Petyr who has recently been promoted to Master of Coin and Trade for the Vale. I come to propose a trade agreement between the Lannisters of Lannisport and the Arryns of The Eyrie. We would trade our stone for your gold and we would both be better off for it. What say you my lord?"

"Your offer is gratefully accepted, our caravans will set off immediately" he says
"My Lady, please inform Lord Jon Arryn, Defender of the Vale, Warden of the East about our appreciation. As long as you stay in Lannisport feel free to eat and drink as much as you want and if there is anything i can do, just let me know" Addam adds

"Thank you my lord" she responds "I will send your regards to Lord Arryn and I'm sure my cousin would respond my thanking you for accepting this offer."

"Your offer is very kind my lord, I will feast and drink tonight but I must leave tomorrow. I have a long journey back to the Eyrie and I have work to do. I hope you have a good vintage my lord, I should hate to have to begin my journey too hungover."

An envoy from House Hightower arrives at Lannisport on a ship coming from Oldtown. The envoy requests an audience before the Shield of Lannisport mentioning a potentially mutual proposition for the Shield's ears.

Trystane was impressed by Lannisport, it was very different from Sunspear. Guards in every corner, very little litter in the streets and that magnificent mansion had little to envy the Suntower

Evening, Ser Gawen. Lord Uller wished to arrange a trade agreement between Lannisport and the Hellholt and thus I was sent here to discuss this matter with you

    Ser Gewan smiles
"This sounds interessting, because i love good dornish vintages" he says laughing
"earnestly, this trade is a good idea and i gladly accept it. May the seven bless this agreement" he says

Gewan sends for some wine and meat
"How is the Realm doing? its a long time since ive been at the dorne" Gewan asks

I am most glad you accept milord

Trystane sat and had a sip of his cup of wine

Well Ser, most of Dorne is mobilized. The only ones that remain are old men, children and women and a small token garrison at most keeps. The men have joined their Lord's armies and are currently marching towards the enemy

"Greetings my Lord"said the Hightower envoy before he gave a respectful bow. "I am Ser Tommen Hightower of Oldtown, Ser Gawan. I have come on my father's behalf to negotiate a trade agreement between Lannisport and Oldtown. As the two largest and most important ports on the Western coast of Westeros, my father feels like it would be in our best interest to cooperate and work with each other to enhance our economic prosperity my Lord."

"Well... there is turmoil for sure" the Governor says forcefully

after a few seconds Gewan looks at Trystane
"Maybe its a bit crude but as you know there is no heir to Lannisport and i am still unmarried. The Dorne has the most delightful woman, in my opinion and you know house Uller, is there a marriageable Lady?" he asks a bit guardedly

I am afraid Lord Uller doesn't have any sisters and his only daughter is still a toddler. And well, there's Ellaria, but I sincerely doubt you'd be interested in the hand of a bastard girl, milord

"Well this is an honor. I really appreciate your offer, unfortunately we dont have any open trade routes at the moment... all of them are fully occupied" Gewan says
he sends for paper and a nib, after writing the letter he seals it with the Familys sigil and gives it to the servant
"Please take this with you and give it to the Lord of the Hightower"

    Lord Alesander Hightower,
Thanks for your generously offer, unfortunately there isnt any ship left to trade with Oldtown
If there is anything else House Lannister of Lannisport can do for you, just let me know
    may the seven bless you

OOC: Doesn't Lannisport have 3 trade routes (one from its regional bonus)?

A maid appears on horse. She is accompanied by a few guards, but nothing too fancy. They show the arms of house Malpas - three red hounds on silver. Not one of the great houses of the Westerlands. But still a respectable family with a honourable reputation. She tells the guards that she is here, on behalf of her old grandfather, ser Clayton of Malpas Castle and wants to speak with the governor of Lannisport.
