Any advice on how to manage a fun campaign in Caesar in Gaul for DEI? I try to use auto resolve when I can, even if means losing a lot of men, so I don't want to end up having to fight every AI battle. I mention this because it seems that all the AI have access to a lot of generals and build crazy stacks quick, even the smaller factions, but especially Averni. Anyone have any luck building Rome up as a superpower in the early game? What path did you take? Also, I turn of agents, I don't like them so far. I prefer very hard but it seems more likely that I have to play on hard, or even normal.
