TATW help required.

Hey guys,
So I just recently decided to get back into TATW but have been having some issues and would appreciate any advice. I have experianced the same problems with both the PCP submod and the DAC submod. For one the loading screen takes a very long time and when finished fades into the next screen, I thought this "fading" could be an intended feature but it is kind of choppy and slow so I am not sure. Secondly and most importantly I am experiancing very slow scrolling on the campaign map. It is VERY choppy while trying to scroll to another area on the map, and if I try to click the location on the minimap it takes about 2 minutes or so before jumping there. I have tried setting the graphics to minimum, made sure my M2TW was not installed in the program files, and made sure my computer was not on power saver. This only occurs with these two mods, Stainless Steel 6.4 runs perfectly with max graphics as does TATW 3.2. Any help here would be greatly appreciated since I was pretty stoked to see these new submods and get back into TATW.

Can you post your dxdiag? Also, is it hot in your country: summer or spring? Do you have desktop PC or a laptop?

Here is the DXDIAG file. Runing a laptop, ASUS G73Jh. It is summer but we have air conditioning so it shouldn't be a overheating issue. I am thinking it might be that my graphics card needs to be updated however when I tried to update I got grey screen crashes everytime I started my computer so I had to revert back.

I am going to try a full install of M2TW and TATW and DAC but not PCP since I think maybe one of his graphics tweak mods I installed may be the issue since now my Stainless Steel is having the same issue.

Ah mate, laptop with these specs isn't gonna be good for playing TATW or any other " heavier " M2TW mod.

First, your CPU clock is only 1.73, while it is minimum for M2TW vanilla game, it is not enough for TATW. M2TW engine can only use one core of your processor, even though you have eight.

Second, your GPU is also going to make your M2TW gaming hard. It is not optimised for M2TW engine.

I thank you for taking a look ElvenKind. It appears that the Improved Graphics sidemod from the PCP mod was causing the issues. I reinstalled M2TW and TATW and then DAC and things are working perfectly on maximum graphic settings. For anyone else suffering these sorts of problems make sure you check your mods to make sure one wasn't causing the issue as it was for me. I am super happy I got this mod working as it is really awesome. Thanks again.
