Anyone know what you need to build/research to get access to the aor athenian hoplites? i own athens and only have light hoplites available

Another question for AOR, I have a new game with Rome and I can recruit Marian and Imperial Reform units in Italy when I am still under the Camillian system. Is there a reason that these overly powerful units would be available so early?

You might need to achieve a certain Imperium

I also just noticed that it says "restricted to prologue." Should that even appear on the main campaign now?

If you can recruit those units early, you have a mod conflict or an old mod in the data folder messing things up. If that doesn't help, reverify your game cache.

For AoR untis, some are not available until after reforms. I would have to specifically check on that unit later.

Some of the AoR units require higher tier settlement buildings as well (eg you need T3 for Spartan Hoplites). Hope this helps, I know I didn't notice it until quite late on
