We will have to see. Good read

    Yes!! They're fixing chain routing:

We wanted to avoid mass chain routing as soon as melee troops engage. We also wanted to ensure that if you want to keep the units broken you must chase with a significant force or they will recover and fight back.

    Looks very good.
I like the way units will rally unless persued and the way fatigue works.
As Lusted also said, yay to no more chain-routing.

It's good to hear the AI will provide the challenge on VH rather than the computers' super-soliders.

oh yeah, that's the stuff I like to hear!!

It all sounds very promising, especially the fatigue and the elimination of chain routing.

Looks like we'll have to start thinking about keeping a healthy amount of fresh men in reserve! Great, I like what i'm reading CA!

I think this will have a major impact on AI. The main reason I won so quickly with little losses was I exploited chain routing

I wonder if it means your generals can't rally anymore? This was a useful tool for keeping morale up, not just rallying routing units.

But the blog sounds very promising :-)

IMO very hard difficulty should be impossible to beat without being a professional commander and having very good luck. We'll see, hard has always been enough for me. ANd no chain routing.
What a great game this will be.

VH all the way. I'm tired of not losing any battle on VH/VH R:TW. Sounds great, let's see how it's gonna be in real life.
My biggest concern, as always, is campaign map with AI's lack of intelligence and logic.

"Right now, during a large infantry engagement, you will be lucky to see any unit’s rout in the first 30 seconds and if it does happen, the rest of the army if they’re elite units, will stay and fight. Best of all, units that do rout will recover within 150m unless chased off the battlefield, so you can quickly throw them back into the melee."

I am happy that they seem to listen. If all this is true I would be really thankful as a community player that my requests and all others are affecting the developers.
    We do give our money.
