    Icon5 Unit faults

    I wanted to make a thread where people can post screenshots of units that need editing in either names or stats, and I anted to being with these units.





    As oyu can see the Scythien horse archers have more armor then the Prodromoi even though the Prodromoi have visually better amour (linothorax and dermathorax (yupp just made that word up )) over the Scythiens wollen coats...

    As far as I know unit balance (especially armor) is not the in the focus of the mod right now. They will do some changes with 1.0 or maybe after it. Right now they want to do more overalls of the factions and campaign mechanism before rebalancing stats again.
    Also if you really want to start such a thread, then you should be prepaired to see ~100 units in here soon ;-) so maybe you should use some spoiler tacks or so :-D

    We will be hopefully fixing many of the unit issues in 1.0. However, if anyone wants to post issues/bugs specific to units in this thread it is appreciated. It will help us when going through for 1.0.

    I've got a couple of issues for the new units introduced in 0.9. Great job on the new units overall, and thanks for looking into these issues.

    First, the Galatian "Katpatuka Zanteush." They're clearly missile infantry, but their description refers to medium cavalry called "Curisi." Also, their melee attack is as high as Galatian elite swordsmen, and their unit size is 160 men on Ultra. I don't know if those last two are bugs or not; maybe that's intentional, but it seems off.

    Next up are the Getic "Mezenai." These guys definitely are missile cavalry, but they don't have a "fire at will" button and they can't use their javelins at all. Also - this is minor, but some of the new units have descriptions that are too long to read in the custom battle screen. I know DeI is meant for campaign play, but I think some of those descriptions are bit wordy.

    Oops, 160 men is normal for most missile infantry. I must have just thought it was weird that they deploy by default in a much deeper unit than most other missile troops. The other stuff still applies.
