    To be honest, I really don't care about the accuracy of the pic for these screens. I'm more into the aesthetic side and the 'atmosphere' coming from the pic rather than on the historic side. Be realistic: how long do you stay in front of them when you launch the game? 10 sec? 30 sec? 1 minute? More?
    At some stages guys, release the pressure and keep cool. Not everything has to be that accurate or you'll loose the pleasure of the game itself. The pic may not be historically accurate but it's medievalish and eye candy. That's good enough for me for these screens.

    Fan of this mod, salivating for v1.0.0 --- one that really immersed me is the details like the guillotine for the newly conquered settlement,, fan .. fan .. I am a BIG FAN.

    Quick update and important note for those who makes mini-mods for SSHIP.

    I'm currently updating some factions' names entries in SSHIP. That's not critical but that easier for me to carry on for future releases. Anyway, below the changes and relevant files impacted:

    Zengid Emirate will have its entries named "zengid" instead "kwarezm"

    Edit: Georgia name fully implemented.
    The good point of doing this is that it should allow me to remove quite a huge amount of useless old entries related to the timurids
    Moving to the next, probably the Zengids.

    Quick update: Abbasid name entries implemented. Moving to the last one (Serbia replacing TO). When done, I'll make some "cleaning". There are quite a lot of remaining and useless entries from previous versions. I'd like to remove them before to carry on. The idea behind this is to reduce the size of the mod as I'm planning to include the full Stainless Steel stuff with it in order to make the install easier. Beside, that should make the bug hunting easier for me as well

    Woow long time ago to dont come here due to my real work and real life... I am glad to know and see that this amazing submod continue( version 0.9.5) and also Lifth want to release a new version, is wonderful! This mod must live for be so cool and historically correct
    But seeing the latest news I would like to ask about the future intentions of the mod...
    Lifth do you want add kostic submod for the next release or you want make your unique units models? I think that kostic submod improve a lot of the units rosters of europeans and also is historical but maybe you could improve it, i remember that you wanted improve scottish and norwegians units rosters...
    Also it would be great if the ancient strat map models were changed by news models, for example add( if you have permission) the strat map models of broken crescent mod, they have cool units models and also historical for muslims units and other mod as battle for the baltic have cool strat map models for russians, cumans and mongol factions
    Same thing for the nikkosaizz roman units models, he said long time ago that he will give his units to sship, and really they are so cool and historical roman units
    Also i dont know how will be the sship version 1.0, we hope that have great improves if is possible and not only bug fixes, maybe more mercenary barracks, more types of guilds, other new units, new scripts, improve reputation and other things that improve the inmersion of the game...
    But in general i want tell you thank you so much for your effort and for continue improve this awesome historical mod

    Edit: I forgot to mention the following points as well:
    - Dromon unit card added to Serbia (missing in the current version).
    - Master horse breeders guild requires a fortress and the horse breeders guild HQ requires a citadel now.

    Hello,
    For some reason a lot of in game sounds are missing, most notably the sounds you should hear when clicking on cities and building/recruitment queues, as well as many battle sounds such as units marching/running/firing/fighting.
    I followed the fix listed in the instructions but it did not change anything.
    I also tried transferring sound files from the base game but as expected they did not work either, in fact all sound was gone.

    Do you have any idea what might cause this?

    Are you using a Steam version of the game? If yes, that might explain why as that version doesn't rebuilt some files (can't remember if it is the .dat or the .idx).
    I'll see to include all sound files in the next version to avoid such issue in the future.

    Did you remember to fix the normal english alt_expanded.txt by adding the 55 missing settlement names that are at the bottom of the main expanded.txt so the alt doesn't break the script?

    I haven't touched that file and to be honest, I'm even thinking to remove it. Why? Because there's already a mini mod made for that purpose (see here). As explained earlier, I want to remove all the unnecessary files for clean up.

    Lifth some news about the progress of the next release? If is possible, it would be great implemented new strat map models for the rest of factions(muslims, russians,mongols and cumans) i guess that rusicki mod is free for use and maybe broken crescent units also,the kostic mod is in my opinion good and fit for europeans, maybe with some small refinements and small improvements, would be even better (more variety among Eastern Europeans such as Hungarians and Poles with respect to Western europeans, Italian, French ...)
    Sure that you are doing a hard and tedious work ''cleaning" the files but it wouldbe good if you tell us what want for the next release..(similar when you tell us about improve the map and little regions and you put your progress here) maybe we can help you...
