    I honestly have no idea what can cause the kind of graphic issue, especially if it appears randomly and not when replaying the battle

    I hate myself for popping up in this thread again, but I just have to. I simply love this submod (It actually got me back into playing Med II after a while), and I'd love enjoy it to the fullest, but now, for the third time, it seems that my campaign will have to end because of a pretty unavoidable CTD.
    First my ERE campaign came to an end at turn 70 because of a crash at the beginning of my turn.
    Then my HRE campaign came to an end at around turn 60 because the game crashed whenever I entered a battle.

    Now, my French campaign will apparently also end because of a pre-battle CTD, and again I came to the conclusion that it's something wrong with the HRE units that's making the game crash for me.
    Note that I've re installed the submod (complete with new downloads, just to make sure) each time that I was forced to end my campaign.

    The brand new situation is as follows:

    It is turn 59, and the HRE (my ex-ally) decided to lay siege to Dijon. King Philippe couldn't let that happen, so he marched his army into Burgundy, ready to fight the Krauts.

    Whenever I try to engage them, the game crashes, without any entry in the log whatsoever.

    I've come to the conclusion that it must be one of the lower tier German units that's causing the crash because:

    1) That seems to be the case in my HRE campaign as well. I've fought successful battles with the higher tier German units and successful battles with low tier French ones. It is only when the Germans bring out their militias that the game seems to crash. Although it wasn't always the case. In my German campaign, I've fought a few battles with low tier units and the game didn't crash at first.

    2) I tried engaging another enemy army, which didn't have low tier units, and the battle played out just fine.

    Maybe I'm wrong, but I'm simply making an educated guess.


    I've attached the save game, so that you can give it a shot if you'd like to. After all, the problem could very well be on my end.

    If nothing, then just wish me luck in my next campaign. I'm thinking of playing Castile... Man, I love this mod. Usually, after losing 1 campaign I would simply lose interest, but the fact that I've kept playing SSHIP after 3 lost saves even amazes myself.

    Regarding your CTD, I don't think it's due to your installation. I have myself encountered the same issue and some other people also have. I really think there's something wrong there but I haven't found what so far. Hopefully, with your information, I'll be able to. Fingers crossed

    Just one question: if you autoresolve the battle, do you have the CTD?

    To answer your question, no, when I auto resolve the battle, the CTD doesn't happen and the game goes on just fine. Good luck solving the problem

    I have also gotten similar graphical glitches in multiple siege battles. I'm using Windows 10 x64 and GeForce GTX 680.

    Also now my Norwegian Early Era campaign crashes on Basileia ton Rhomaion's turn with the following error message:

    @vikior: I found your bug I think. Should be related to the bronze upgrade of mailed knights. Will be fixed for the next version. If you want to fix it now, PM me.

    @Memb: Never seen this error before... I don't really know how to look into it since it doesnt really seem fixable through modding.

    Yeah, it seems like some programming error.
