I tested my save on the original September 8, 2022 release and the game crashes the same way.
As I patched this version of the game with my latest additions mid-campaign, I thought about what I could have changed that would make my campaign incompatible. The only files likely to modify anything would be my modifications in the EDU of the line armour_ug_levels where, indeed, I modified a certain number of figures to define more precisely the chronological arrival of the units in the game.
As I'm being careful, I had backed up the EDU before these changes.
Unfortunately, even by putting back the unmodified EDU file, the game still continues to crash at this turn 170...
We should see if other players have this problem or if it's just my campaign that is corrupted.

Yes. I have several backups. almost 1 per year !
I'm also going to try to start again with an old save (not too old anyway!) to see if the game still crashes at turn 170.
I started again from the year 1214, 6 laps earlier. I totally changed my strategy, in case the latter was responsible. The result is clear: on turn 170, there must be a particular event that crashes the game !

There is an event and also the change_battle_model - maybe something is wrong there ?
I fixed a few typos in historic_events.txt entries in the git build. But I don't think these were the source of this CTD.

I think it is about the Faction Leader or Heir. Death and New Leader may be you should look
What is surprising, is that there're other players who would move ahead hundreds of turns more (the record is like 464 turns?). I don't think typos and events' texts are a source of the crash. Furthermore, the non-kostic changes made later than the September version are also not sources of crash.
I would guess that Kostic is using September version with his own additions, including new battle models. What follows, there might be some mix-up due to those new battle models or any similar kostic's change.
I dont know if you know this but, a look needs to be given to the polish castle barracks line as its pretty f'ed. Some levels dont even have any units available.

For my CTD, if the other players manage to pass this step (turn 170) without crashing, I see only one possible explanation : a save file corrupted by my unit changes or my modifications in armour_ug_levels during the game because this backup crashes regardless of the version used.![]()
Hello there! Game seems to be stable as Frisian Horse but after 100 turns I find out that no one creates agents. No priests, no mechants, no spies. Is there any hotfix for this?
