    I managed to get it to work with G patch, but not with H patch, whatever I do I get a CTD, and to be honest its kinda confusing what to do with so many files.

    Hi,
    I have been following this mod for almost a year now and now I decided to play it.

    After a couple of turns in my Norwegian campaign though I get a CTD during the AI turn. It is not specific to any of the factions, sometimes I get it on the Seljuk other times at the Rebel turn.

    Follow up if it is the pic*** of the event or the text entry, failing that check what else is involved in the monitor where the event gets triggered.

    *** looking at the log I am assuming that there is none, which would be fine as it is reverting to the default pic, given the last line: 'found data/ui/northern_european/eventpics/historic_event.tga'

    Playing the version PM'd by JoK.

    A besieged city(Murcia) by the Moors is on its last turn, I end the turn, the garrison naturally breaks siege, the battle starts but I miss it(the most annoying thing about rtw/mtw2, you don't get a pause screen when a siege break happens). Anyway, I re-load the game to the exact turn, I end the turn, the game CTDs during the Moorish/Novgorod turn. I re-load and re-load and re-load, until eventually the garrison does nothing and I get the city.

    I again re-load, and re-load and its impossible to get the break siege, which is something I noticed about mtw2 that drives me insane to no end, sometimes "A" happens, and you re-load, and "A" simply cannot happen anymore, its impossible, you get "B", "C" but you cannot recreate A.

    Anyway here is the log:

    Thanks, Jurand sent me a new version of the game and this thing is fixed. It was tied to turn 8ish when the Ortodox factions can build cathedrals

    Hello, I installed clean version of SS 6.4 and then I copied SSHIP into the SS 6.3 folder. When I launch the game, it will crash after loading screen. How can I fix this problem?

    Hi,
    Playing the August 08 patch JoC sent me. Looks like one model for the Byzantine's are missing as when entering a battle with them I get the below error:

    In order not to autoresolve the battle I created a copy of the mailed knights mesh file and named it latinikon_lod0.mesh and it worked, I can fight the battle. Obviously the missing 'latinikon_lod0.mesh' will need to be added by the beloved mod-team

    Any chance it could be a spelling issue and that a model exists? Like 'latikon' perhaps?

    Again something that bovi's checker would pick up, but it might be a bit submerged in all the other message lines unless you do a search for it: you will have a 'model missing' line for latinikon and possibly a 'model has no match\reference' for a surplus model like latikon. Don't quote me on the message wording, it's not exact, just to explain the principle.

    I am playing new Campaign follow this guide, bro.

    (A) Installing in stages
    First, download and install a full version of
    Stainless Steel v. 6.4
    (without bugfix compilation - best taken from here)
    Then download and overwrite the files with the SSHIP ver. 097, then overwrite with patch G (patches A-G are included in this download), and apply patch H (put those two small files into folder \data\text). That last one was issued on January 29th, 2021 and fixes a deadly crash around turn 270. It's save-compatible.
    This version is KCC 095 ready : you should first install this version, then you may overwrite it with KCC 095 files - it should work perfectly.

Max that will happen is that the desired action will not happen - which ultimately 'could' (low probability) lead to a crash in the long run. Team - the event you used does not export character details apparently which is needed for the trait condition.
    The stuff that caused the crash is in the 12 seconds between the last two lines of the log - basically an eternity where the log is concerned. Without the log being set to trace there is no way to trace the cause. Only thing I know for sure is that it happened at the start of the player's turn - courtesy of the two custom log messages at the top of your log.

    thanks @Olaszv for the report. I seems the mesh is missing from the folder, I looked for a misspell in the whole data folder but could'nt find anything. I'm sure the guys from the team working on units will fix this!

    I also think that it happens at my turn, indeed I am playing Abbasid. Any how to solve this problem, bro? I notice many times facing this kind of crash @@

    This is a known bug, fixed in the 0.98 betan and that is not supposed to lead to crashes, it should be harmless.
    My guess is something else is happening in the same time.

    The CTD you're experiencing is linked to something else: too much time passed between the last two log entries, and the "script execution error" is related to something completely harmless: the cost of campaigning armies.

    Here is a corrected campaign_script. You just have to copy/paste the data folder inside your SSHIP installation (the folder is named SS6.3) and choose "replace" when asked what to do about duplicate files.

    Please note that this is not savegame compatible, so you will have to start a new campaign to see the effects of this fix.
