    Thanks for the report, but from the basic log we can't say much. Could you either send the save or set the log to trace and try to reproduce the CTD?

    Indeed, the Y Archers are not recruitable, MWY must have changes it (they were in SS6.4), I've no idea why he did. Your proposal looks reasonable, I'll fix the issue along this line, maybe bringing the Longbowmen earlier, and the Retinues later.

    You need a trace log indeed - 4 seconds between last entry and the crash notice is an eternity in log terms.

    please upload the save file and tell which version you're using.

    The short error log doesn't say anything so even if you post multiple logs, it doesn't help. Besides, we've fixed a number of issues during the last few months so it's possible the issues were fixed (iirc, the hanseatic was already dealt, even though it was not the source of the crash, it's false positive). Then there'll be crashes related to the civil war script we're now suspending.

    thanks for help - we don't have a tester team so any information is always useful.

    Thanks Gigantus, the WhenToTest BecomFactionLeader fix is indeed on the to-do list.
    If you can pop up on the beta test thread in our dev forum, we have a strange situation: a slave army is moving at abbasid turn to siege a slave settlement, creating a CTD. I tried moving the general far away with move_character command, but it still created a CTD. I didn't have the time to make further tests, but do you have any input on this?

    BecomesFactionLeader together with IsFactionLeader will create that error message - the condition is superfluous anyhow vis a vis the event. My guess is that the character is not yet leader when the condition gets queried but at the same time there is no leader either, given that the old one has to be dead for this event to fire.

    Yes we'll have to fix those.
    But do you have insight about the slave general moving on Abbasid turn? I could track it, he is the one causing the crash.

    You could kill him with the console to rule out that the character has anything to do with the crash.
    It it the last settlement of a faction? If so then the BecomesFactionLeader bug will be striking again.

    Nevermind anyhow - how does a slave army move during another faction's turn? Turning rebel is obviously happening during a faction's turn, but moving?

    Found the bug and explanation: it is a scripted general that was spawned during our "early sieges" script, but Macaras had the bad luck that he rebelled somehow (maybe distance to capital?), so next turn the script made this now-slave general attack the slave settlement Al Hasa. Then CTD, because attacker and defender were from the same faction now.

    I'll prevent this by giving all scripted generals for early sieges script the max level of trait LoyaltyStarted (this one had only 1, and was spawned far from capital.).

    Great, @Belo! Let's put a warning for the future modders of the scripted sieges that they need to apply this max Loyalty so that the system works.

    Thanks for reporting back, because we also had a ctd on our beta on turn 8 (which was a lot because of bad luck: a scripted general rebelled before the end of the script!), so I was getting nervous
