    But just a moment ago I tried Dekhatres' EDU with his combat overhaul and in it, Ruthenian Archers have lithuanian ownership only, and they look like glitched ghosts instead of silver surfers
    yeah, my bad. I've already replaced Ruthenians with Lithuanians and no silver surfer anymore.
    But I believe Poland should have access to both - in the future.

    My KCC submodule, which works with SSHIP 0.9.6, has already solved this problem. Poland can use ruthenian archers with the right texture.

    There are some errors and omissions in the texture assignments for some units of the game. I would like to fix them all bit by bit ...



    @Just let me post: You talk about version 0.9.7 ... with me, it is not playable as it is (each faction sinks into colossal debts). How can you play with this version ?

    easy, all I do it is mod the game and I haven't actually play it for more than 3 turns yet

    But seriously, before playing I will increase kings purse in descr_strat by ~25%

    in 096 the kings' purse is 1000, while in 097 it is 2500.
    but the overall balance is to be found. Why not to increase to 5000? or 10000? and if we do it, why to bother about the traits increasing the income?

    NO SPANISH VOICES FOR CERTAINS FACTIONS
    Greetings to all,
    I recently downloaded the Stainless Steel 6.4 mod for Medieval 2 Total War, it works perfectly.
    The only downside, that the eastern factions (Poland, Lithuania, Norway, Veliky Novgorod, Principality of Kiev, etc.) have no voices, that is, they do not speak absolutely anything or even when you select them. Now, this problem had been solved in the vanilla version since a user a long time ago uploaded the voice packs of his MTW2 CD version, since in the Steam version these factions have no voices.
    The user specified that this was due to errors in the "accents", that is, the factions that I named earlier were in accents that had not been dubbed for Spanish (see eg: East_Europe: Poland, Lithuania).
    Now, I have easily found the Event.dat file in the mod's sounds folder to be able to move the accents of these factions to one that has been shot, such as the Mediterranean. But the problem is that I can't configure it using notepad so I go to you to find out if anyone could modify that file configuring it correctly and then pass it to me.
    The truth, I would not like to play with the Norwegian Vikings and that they do not say a peep.

    @Lith - he seems to mix up editing TXT and DAT files

    @Harldrade - follow these steps

    - open mods\SS6.3\data\descr_sounds_accents.txt with Notepad
    - move the mute factions to another accent, save file
    - delete the mods\SS6.3\data\sounds\events.idx and events.dat files
    - start mod

    Even with a brand new version SSHIP 0.9.6, even following the procedure of Gigantus and Lifthrasir, the voices of many units, including all those from the north-east (to which must be added the Cumans and the Mongols), are absent on the battlefield.
    That said, I do not find it too embarrassing because we still hear the cries of men and the noise of their steps.
    A good use of the descr_sounds_accents allows however to have the characters of the campaign card who respond.

    Unit voices are a set of different files, I reckon the custom accents have not been extended to them. Simply check files like descr_sounds_units_confirm and export_descr_sounds_soldier_voice to see if scottish and jerusalem are included in the accent lists. It's a simple matter of adding the accents and then delete the events files again.

    The content of the descr_sounds_units_confirm file is really very small... I don't know if that explains the lack of response of many units in the game.

    LOL - that's the 'Yes,Sir!' stuff for the light and heavy voice (see EDU) when you click the unit. Not much more you could get out that
    Still a matter of adding the custom accents.
