    Thank you for your quick replies lads really Immense work you're doing for this world, I took that settlement by sending a character and using the character_reset command as was shown I was playing with the Romans and I didn't find any rebel characters init, but nothing changed it still crashs in this attached screenshot, so my guess It wasn't about that settlementClick image for larger version.

    Also for some reason I always finds my logs folder empty but like show it shows that it gets modified/created when I'm playing Click image for larger version.

    To be sure: your're using SSHIP 096 with my patch from February, without any other submod (like KCC)?

    btw, log is not located in the log folder, but in the main mod folder and it's called system.log.txt

    In this thread (or in the download 096 theread) there's a fix made by Lurex of Codex. Apply it to you version. It may work as in the log one can read:

    Hello all, I was doing just fine in a Georgia campaign until about turn 40 where a started getting a CTD every few turns, and now I've got to the point where I can't progress without a crash. The crash occurs at the beginning of a new turn. Checked the log file and it seems to include a lot of script errors for character traits, followed by several instances of this:

    I have followed all the installation instructions to the letter, and I'm running the game on Windows 10 from disc.

    All errors listed here are harmloss as far as the CTD is concerned. Furhtermore, there's 4 sec. time after the last one. Nothing tells what's up.

    As you know, I don't think changing 2TPY into 4TPY is innocuous.

    For the other players, who would like to pursue this path, I'd just recall my previous entry elsewhere:

    However, some people may like staying with the same generals, so it's a matter of taste.

    If the game had 4 seasons, probably I would like 4 rounds a year ...
    But this is not the case !
    I think there would be better things to do: make the snow random in winter. Every winter our soldiers fight in the snow; Isn't there a way to do something on this side ?

    That's what I was always doing with all other mods I played and it was always working fine.

    And that's the problem. There are two parallel "flows of time" in this game. The first one is year counter and the second is "what characters are able to do during that time". In real world these two timelines are the same - during 24 hours you can do no more no less than 24 hours of anything you like. If you walk with 1km/h speed you will travel exactly 24 kilometers, no more, no less. In the game those timelines start to separate and the less turns per year are available - the less time your character has to do the same thing he'd do if you had more turns per year. Imagine Fatimids sending an envoy to sign a trade agreement with England. With 6tpy he will reach England in (let's say) 1 year. Change it to 2tpy and he'll have to spend 3 years to do the same. Years counter is still the same - years are flowing one by one. But the amount of things you can do during those years is reduced drastically.

    And that's my biggest flaw of 2tpy and why I always played at 6tpy at minimum and right now I consider 4tpy bare minimum to play any mod. Playing 2tpy is like this joke with doctor telling the patient to not worry because he'll have his entire life to do anything he want and then informing him he's got only week of life left.

    Is the amount of generals getting the "Twisted by Violence" trait (Tier 3 of Hardened) WAD? Because it seems like everyone gets it within just 2-3 battles and in a recent campaign I got it on two characters in one turn, neither of whom had even fought a battle yet! I think the threshold needs to be increased dramatically. The Deranged trait also crops up way too often- either chances of it happening need to decrease or there should be large chance to passively decrease it if stationed in a city (perhaps via church/monastery buildings).

    Have a look here and change your EDCT accrodingly.
    On Hardened - I'm looking into the matter, not yet sure what causes it.
    Good point of chance to lower it while in the city. I'll think about it.
